Holy rusted metal Batman! how is that even possible, there must be some kind of quirk there. How do we find it?

hmmm... ok updated.

Need X approved to be promoted.

Can only post Y per day, until 14 days.

X > Y.

Meaning minimum of n>1 days

Why ahkscript.org? - autohotkey.com is outdated

Can we revisit the idea [Link] of only requiring 1 mod's approval to promote someone out of "New Members?" I initially said 5 approvals was too high, and ineffective against the spam we were facing at the time. [Link]

Since I sent this message to the admins and they confirmed this was the problem, I haven't seen any spam on this forum.

All the spammer accounts seem to have a version of the default Twitter profile pic. Are they circumventing the "new members" group by logging in via Twitter?...

I still think 5 posts is too high. It has recently caused some aggravation for me [Link], and I'm sure it's even more troublesome for new members.

I realize the forum is close to being moved so this may not be a high priority, but it should be a simple change. (If not never mind.)

I have changed the requirement to 1 approved post.

However, I think that if the user posts more than once before being approved, each post will still need to be approved.  Posts after the first approval should not.
