Namely because it is not an independent compiler (it is a wrapper for the official one), and functionality similar to Compile_AHK II's is already planned
No idea why it still not the official compiler for AutoHotkey_L...
[*:2lif3p32]Its interface is too cluttered with features that most users won't use.
[*:2lif3p32]Most of its extended functionality relies on external tools which I don't want to distribute with AutoHotkey_L.
I'll get the files uploaded somewhere soon. I'm also working on a minor update that upgrades the AutoHotkey version and the mpress tool.
As for v2 support - I don't do much AutoHotkey work anymore so I'm a bit rusty. I'll see what I can do once it is released.
Sorry for the long, long delay, but I've finally reuploaded the Compile_AHK v0.9.1 files:
Compile AHK v0.9.1 (10/01/11) - Reupload
Readme: Compile AHK Readme
I also plan on releasing a minor update soon that includes the newest version of mpress.exe and uses the latest AutoHotkey_L.
UPDATE 10/20/13: v0.9.1.2 posted here.
Hi, sorry for my ignorance... what is this UPX.EXE? I dont have it at all. Does it mean I have a old version of the compiler? I don’t manage to find any update of it.
I’m trying to fix my compiler so it would make my exe “AVAST-prove” because right now my AVAST is deleting pretty much every Autohotkey EXE I make =(
Although I am far from being an accomplished coder, I have done quite some tinkering with AHK and more recently with AHK_L. When I tried to compile the latest script with options (version, icon…) I constantly get the same error apparently linked to "ResHacker.exe" not being able to set the version info correctly. Additionally, when I check the option to set the script version to the AHK version, it always sets 3.1.0 for some reason. If I don't set any version info, the script compiles correctly.
I have a portable setup of both "AHK_L" and "SciTeAHK".

Thousand thanks in advance for any help and please let me know if you need any additional info!
The official compiler is being updated to include equivalent functionality, so that external wrappers such as Compile_AHK aren't needed anymore.
Thank you! This should be the official compiler. It's silly to not have these features available if possible.
