Sorry, BoBo, this isn't my media computer. That's my desktop (being hooked up to real speakers instead of the gameboy-quality ones in my laptop), which I'm usually not browsing the web on. But what's this?

Might be not your favourite as Britney S. wasn't born at that time

I'll have you know that I listen to neoclassical music just as much as alternative; and even then, I don't support whores. (Strong language? Not in her case.)

Editpad Lite is my favorite, it has everything I want from an editor. Everything else I've tried either feels like theres too many functions I don't need or too bare.

I like EditPlus .. but i ran into a snag already with it.

I'm trying to use the #ErrorStdOut command.

It says to enter this into EditPlus :

Command: C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\AutoHotkey.exe
Argument: /ErrorStdOut $(FilePath)
Initial directory: $(FileDir)
Capture output: Yes

when i load my script up, it says "Cannot create process .. The directory name is invalid"

I configured the following in EditPlus and it seems to work okay:

From the menu bar: Tools > Configure User Tools
Press button: Add Tool > Program
Menu Text: Your choice
Command: AutoHotkey.exe
Argument: /ErrorStdOut "$(FilePath)" ; Double quotes were added.
Initial directory: $(FileDir)
Capture output: Yes

I have updated this info in the help file.

@jonny: Heh, I missed that :p. http://www.yzis.com is an editor, *nix only at this point I believe, that's being built to be a vim work-alike but better designed for a gui. It's still under heavy development. but looks interesting.

Boohoo. Do you honestly need to have your vote in the poll? Who actually cares which one has most votes anyway? What's more important is that we have such a broad range of opinions and choices.

I use Metapad, which is also not on the list. *sniff* :(

It doesn't do syntax coloring but some people might not mind giving that up in exchange for its light-weight feel.

Heh.
To be honest, I think sigs in all, if not plain smart/catchy text, are silly :p
Just as lucky we don't have people with 300*500 animated sigs like those you'd see in common gamers' forum lol.
