Get it from http://www.robf.de/H...isp/ahk-mode.el

It gives you:
- syntax highlighting,
- completion of commands and variables,
- automatic code indention and
- electric braces.

Robert.

PS: AHK is really cool, it makes it much easier to accept the fact that I am forces to work on Windows instead of a proper OS. ;-)

Really nice looking. It's clear you put a lot of effort into making XEmacs recognize and colorize the syntax very well.

Since you decided to share your work under the GPL, I'll include it in the Extras\Editors folder with the next update of AutoHotkey. I'll also keep the file up-to-date as more commands are added.

Thanks.

That's mostly cut&paste, the indention (that pressing TAB will indent a line correctly) was more tricky ;-)

Do it!

There is a new version which is now also compatible to GNU Emacs.

Have fun
Robert.

Ok I am new to the autohotkey, so can you please tell me how to download and install the Xemacs (which package :? ) and how can I use (add) your script to the Xemacs :? ?

I opened that link using notepad (and IE) and didn't understand most of the things it was saying

hi!

i was stunned by the broad support for texteditors you provided with your tool!!

i tryed the emacs mode and all went well to the point where emacs tries to load the two files commands.txt and keys.txt the were not included with my release!!!

where could i get them???

They should be in the folder AutoHotkey\Extras\Editors\Syntax.

Cool! I've started using emacs more now that I've started fooling with Common Lisp (can't beat SLIME!).

Reminds me I need to redo my Vim syntax file for ahk because it sucks....

and other features of org-mode added to it:

The original Ahk-Mode interferes with other modes by globally overwriting the variable 'indent-region-function'.
Here's a fix:

Thanks for the update.

However, the fixed version at the above link seems to be missing the ending part of the file; perhaps nearly half the file is missing.
