AHK-L has built-in support for COM and, through it, WinHttpRequest objects. Search the forum for "WinHttpRequest" to find examples.

I found an estrange phenomenon with httpQuery 0.3.6 and 0.3.5. Everything works fine, but sometimes it takes 60 seconds to finally don’t get any code. It’s estrange, because even if the URL was wrong, most of the times doesn’t need 60 secs to get the “404 Not Found”.

I checked several of the URL that took 60 secs, some of them are correct, some are wrong, but why does it take 60 secs? It very long time to see if the URL is correct or not. Is there any way to reduce this time? Or to fix that if it’s a bug?

Thanks a lot

Working on a cron update script for my sites. I have 50 websites that I need to visit everyday, all the URLS is saved in a textfile. So i want my script to visit all the urls in the file. Starting from the start > end.

GuiControlGet , Hostname,
GuiControlGet , Port,

if(Hostname= "")
{
	Msgbox,0x30,Oops, Oops! Something went wrong.`n`nYou have to specify Hostname.
	Return
} else if (Port= Port)
{
	Msgbox,0x30,Oops, Oops! Something went wrong.`n`nYou have to specify Port.
	Return
}

URL := Hostname ; (How?)
POSTdata := "update=" . Hostname . "&Port=" . Port ; Hostname and Port is variables
httpQUERY(URL,POSTDATA)
Msgbox POST_DATA_SENT
Return

How do I parse thru a text that looks like this:

http://url1.com/CheckUpdates.php?
http://url2.org/CheckUpdates.php?
http://url3.se/CheckUpdates.php?
http://url4.st/CheckUpdates.php?
http://url5.tk/CheckUpdates.php?

Want to get the URLS in "URL :=" variable, and run 1 by 1 or everyone at the same time.  :p Hope anyone can help me out! Thanks in advance!

Very first post, it is the code below the line "Remarks: The only thing which is quite unsatisfying, is the fact that the url has to assigned as a var and when downloading binaries, the data must be empty. httpQuery 0.3.6" at the end, all the code above are examples. Note that newer ahk versions - get it at http://ahkscript.org/ supports WinHttp.WinHttpRequest out of the box so to speak see the example at the bottom of the documentation here http://ahkscript.org...nloadToFile.htm
