Checked it out. The Movie Info feature doesn't seem effective for rips. How are you doing the lookup? Not by title, I'm guessing.

by imdb link if it exists and if not by title.
i have no problem at all doing the lookup by title if the titles are the normal title of the movie it should be working fine

Ah... just discovered that it has to be a clean title... as in, no suffixes or tags. You're right. It works then. Just annoying to have to clean up all the entries. No way for it to ignore stuff in parentheses and brackets?

This is particularly true where the movie exists across two files (e.g., part 1 + part 2). There should be a way to note which part is which and still look up the information. Parsing the entry without parentheses or brackets may do the trick.

i will see what i can do...but i personally only add the folders of the movies and not the files itselves...so i dont have a problem if the movie is 1 part or 2 parts

i was wondering if someone could post some suggestions of what more fields could be added to the next version

i was thinking about :

Title :|Path :|Path 2:|IMDb Link :|Genre :|Year :|Quality :|Tags :|Seen/Unseen :|PMDb ID :

Path 2 if the movie has 2 parts
tags to easily find some movies or maybe to create a tag cloud system later
seen/unseen is pretty obvious
and an Popcorn Movie Db ID..could be used for better check if movie already exists etc

any other suggestions?

and also if someone can suggest a better database system because im not really satisfied of the txt method im using right now

New Version v3.1.0 is here!

Updates :
[*:1yw0m5tt] Better Series support
[*:1yw0m5tt] Multiple Movie Part support
[*:1yw0m5tt] Improved Movie Filter
[*:1yw0m5tt] New Fields : Keywords,Seen?,PMDb IDFixed Bugs :
[*:1yw0m5tt] Srt Synchroniser is now loading the subs properly
[*:1yw0m5tt] Few other small fixes....
Open Help from the menu to see how the new things work

If you have been using previous versions of this script then you will need to go to Menu -> File\Convert Movie Db File to v3.1.0 so it works with the new version

This is particularly true where the movie exists across two files (e.g., part 1 + part 2).

you can add multiple parts now on the movies path..just seperate the paths of the movie with | and next time you doubleclick on the movie a menu will appear and you can select the part you want to watch

nice! one of the most usefull scripts i have seen written in ahk :D

the only thing that is annoying me little is that the movie titles must be clean so the info can be retrieved! it would be nice if it worked with scene names also

keep up the great work!
