How much time?
More then 15 minutes?

no, approx. max 1 minute!

if there's a second instance of M2T running, perhaps you have the systray icon for totalcmd.exe hidden from your view?
as i told you: i installed tc, started it with default settings (under windows xp, btw.)
and M2T will create an icon for it upon minimizing within 10 seconds (although it uses the default icon that looks like M2T's)!
i think your setup is different from mine, or something...

my AVG detected the exe version of the script as keylogger

yeah, that's a known issue with some antivirus tools.

the Min2Tray.exe is packed by UPX packer. those tools falsely detect the runtime compressed executable as virus/keylogger/wtf.

if you don't trust the Min2Tray.exe just use the supplied Min2Tray.ahk source. that's freedom of Open Source!

btw, you may check any program with https://www.virustotal.com/

Right, I read about that false alarm. I'm sorry for being suspicious. Thanks for the nice script and for your contributions to AHK

I wonder why the Newsreader "40tude Dialog" does't disappear from the TaskBar. If I middleclick it I have an Icon in the SytemTray but still an Icon in the TaskBar.
Other Programs are going only to the SystemTray, like it is ment, I think.

Is it normal?

no, this is no normal behaviour. Outlook has similiar issues sometimes.
you could try activating the option "Minimize window immediately (skip task bar)". just minimize the 40tude window, select "Preferences" from the taskbar icon of this window and check the option mentioned above.
if it won't help, drop me another line here ;-)

Thank you, but it is not working.
Still I have the "40tude Dialog" in the TaskBar too.

By the way: totalcmd is still not producing any Icon (after 15 or more) when minimizing it.
It is in my Windows Path, maybe it has something to do with it?

EDIT: could it be related to my two monitors?

i installed 40tude Dialog just a minute ago and can verify your problem. i'm investigating in this issue and hope to fix the glitch soon. so keep standing by.

no, i don't think so. minimizing windows of Total Commander works for me here.

EDIT: could it be related to my two monitors?

could be (for TC). you could try using a single monitor setup for testing purposes.
i'm poor - owning just one screen  - so no chance of testing this myself.

found a solution!
please read the paragraph "Solutions to common problems/questions": http://junyx.breadfa...tBeta#solutions
then download the .reg file and import it into your windows registry.
should fix your problem with 40tude Dialog - or won't it?

TotalCommander's default installation path is "c:\totalcmd" on my system.
don't know if it is different on yours?

could you possibly upload (to pastbin or so) your "TOTALCMD.INC"-file (config of TC). it's located within TC's directory.
send me a PM on this forum when done.

and what version of windows do you use? missed this one :-)
i could only test TC under XP.

First thank you for this script. I've a suggestion. Could you please add the possibility to right click on maximize button of title bar in order to run always on top.

i'll think about it.

could you also live with a middle mouse click on the close button for a-o-t?
this is my preferred solution, right now
