This code I allways used doesn't work for Windows 7

PostMessage, 0x111, 29698,,, ahk_class Progman ; SHOW DESKTOP ICONS (TOGGLE)
						PostMessage, 0x111, 28931,,, ahk_class Progman ; REFRESH DESKTOP

Please help me to find the new parameters for Windows 7

did u try setting compatible mode to XP/Vista
did u try run as admin rights
did u try turn off UAC

great, i am glad that ppl uses the Search function effectively and find the solution themselves

Tested on Windows 7 x64 - managed to throw together a script with an excellent fade effect, icons show when you Win+D, responds to keyboard activity (press letter to select icons, even if faded), however icons don't respond to the first action if it's a left click - which I don't really mind; wouldn't want to be accidentally moving my carefully arranged icons around, lol. (right click works on first click). Taskbar does not activate icons.

Excuse the enthusiasm :lol: been trying to chuck this in my idle time for a while now.
