Is it possible to use an arrowkey, (Up, Down, Left, Right) as a trigger for a hotstring or as an 'input'??

For example:

:*:Up:: {Tab}
; I wish to simply replace a user input of the UP arrow key with a Tab.

Input, USERINPUT , V L1
; I wish to simply detect if the input is an arrow key

; Note, I also tried the special characters, SC150 etc., to no luck. Maybe
; they need to be in quotations...? I'll try it when I get back from work

I believe I read on the docs that this may not work, since the arrow keys apparently don't 'send' characters or whatnot.

Hope you can help.

Thanks. If not, I'll just have to redesign.

It just falls under the category of HOtkey, rather than Hotstring.

A string is a number of charcters grouped together.
