This looks impressive I really want to try it out/peek at the coding... but it says it's written with autohotkey L... not to bring this thread off topic, but what's the deal with AutoHotkey L? Is it the new thing? Is it different than what I have (I downloaded autohotkey last fall) or just better? I appreciate your advice and look forward to looking at 7plus, just don't have time now.

Find me on the new AutoHotkey forums and send me a message if you have a question about any of the scrips I've posted to this forum!

Autohotkey_L is a different build of Autohotkey that offers some more features, see this link here: <!-- m -->https://ahknet.autoh...s/AutoHotkey_L/<!-- m --> . I mainly need it for its contextual hotkeys with the #if directive.

I noticed you add file size and free space to the status bar in Vista/7. That was one of the things that bugged me most about 7. I use Classic Shell to remedy the issue:

Wonderful script.

In particularly the the middle click close for taskbuttons is much better than the taskbar overlor's method. Is there any easy way to copy the feature to my personal script? I already tried but ended up having 300 rows of code to pass compilation and even then it didn't run.

BTW
There is registry tweak for cycling through grouped windows: <!-- m -->http://lifehacker.co... ... istry-hack<!-- m -->.

tooon, might do that.

AHKacc, not sure how easy it is to separate it from the rest, I have a lot of functions used at multiple places.
Thanks for the tip, this might be a better solution than to control-click it.

Very nice, thanks

Cool, glad you like it. Let me know if you have ideas on how to improve it.

add double-click the desktop to hide/reveal icons?

Could do that maybe, though it's only a cosmetic change. Might also add a "run program" option there.

What dialog window? There is more than one type.
I excluded dialog windows from some features, because some functions produce erratic behavior or are too slow for file dialogs.
Unfortunately, they don't have a COM interface like explorer does for getting Path, Selected Files etc...
