Ok so i made a program that shows a couple of icon's and if you press on the icon it opens a application.
the purpose of the program is to quickly show an always on to gui that shows some icons of applications i use allot so i can quickly open them..
This works fine..

BUT i want to make it into a exe file and still be customizable, but there are a few notes:
- there must be an easy/fast way to add new or delete old icons
- the icon's are not the standard icons
- the icons have to be able to change place (not alphabetical)

I am still new to ahk so i dont know what its possibilitys are, I will be very thankfull if someone helps me on my way with some idea's..

Please do not hesitate to ask for questions or clarification.

Store the information about the icons and programs in an INI (see IniRead and IniWrite) so you can read the information from a configuration file and update your Gui accordingly - you don't have to compile it to be able to run it.

@codybear I see you are test driving AHKCommandURL() :wink:

Let me test drive mine:

Writes a value to a standard format .ini file.
Source: <!-- m -->http://www.autohotke...e.htm<!-- m -->

Reads a value from a standard format .ini file.
Source: <!-- m -->http://www.autohotke...d.htm<!-- m -->

Seems to work :wink:
