Non-important

I am planning on using Attach by majkinetor, but "learning" how to use it has kept me off till now.

The semi-important thing

Have you upgraded to version 0.9.6.0? (released yesterday :) ) It already features the many new tags

Version 0.9.6.0 (2011-04-20) :
- Option to change forum style with many built-in forum styles
- Added [font], ,[sub],[sup],[s] tags

Eventually I plan to add full support for vBulletin, as I also frequent a vBulletin board.

Indent, Align are next on my list. What other "custom" tags are you interested in?

For mybb example, here's some:
<!-- m -->http://www.mybbextra...splay.php?fid=6<!-- m -->
There are tons of custom ones and I have been playing around with making custom ones myself. Now I know it's unrealistic to get you to implement all of these tags, but I would like a way to add custom tags even if they are not integrated into a wysiwyg editor, just a quick way of adding them...
I dunno, it was just some thoughts. But either way, this is amazing.
Disclaimer: I'm not an expert by any means; I just try to help out where I can.

I often use code with colors outside of [/code] boxes. I want to be able to highlight a section of code in BBE and choose a base color like blue. So it looks like this.
Msgbox % "Hello World" . " Important " . " more text"

So that works no problem. Now there's some important text in there. So I want to highlight it red:
Msgbox % "Hello World" . " Important " . " more text"
Huh? Here's how it looks in BBE.

The correct BBCode would be:
Msgbox % "Hello World" . " Important " . " more text"       (click quote post to see the BBCode)

Also using tags in the editor gives no output. For example if I wanted to say:
Please use [code][/code] tags
It won't let me.

Thanks for all the great work you've done on this, I hope you continue to work on it. I'm using the latest exe.

So I want to highlight it red

Thanks for the bug report. I have fixed it, but will be releasing it only on monday as i am not on a broadband network at present.

Please use [ code ][/ code ] tags
It won't let me

The parser thinks it is an emply code block and removes it. I already written about this limitation in the "Known limitations" section in the help file. ;)

Thank you!

One more bug report, (then I'll stop complaining Posted Image ) the Remove Format button doesn't work on pasted formated text, for example from a browser. An above and beyond workaround to this would be a paste-plain button that pastes the clipboard as plain text. This could be done by retreving the contents of Clipboard which is always unformated.

By button I mean menu item in the Edit menu.

I have added option to resize the window, which was a popular request.

Implemented many more suggestions on this thread, and bug-fix of the bug mentioned by hoppfrosch

Version 0.9.7.0 (2011-04-25) :
- The editor can now be resized/maximised
- Added "Paste unformatted text" option
- Improved context menu
- Selected forum and options are remembered between updates
- Some bug-fixes

Added "Paste unformatted text"

Thanks. :)
No more source code and resources download available? Only .exe? No portable version? :(

Tip: Maybe you should specify minimum size for your main Gui when user resizes it. Something like;
Gui, 1: +Resize [color=red]+MinSize600x400[/color]

The source code link was removed. The source is still updated at https://ahknet.autoh.../bbcode-editor/

I removed the source link because I now depend on the installer to write default options to the registry, and to associate .bbs and .bbcode extensions. Also, auto-updater does not work for source version. And then, the Softpedia and CNet downloads are already scanned for viruses, hence new users need not worry of viruses etc in the download.

Tip: Maybe you should specify minimum size for your main Gui when user resizes it.

Great idea :). Thanks, added to next update.

Thanks dear shajul, but I'm getting error (using source code version with AHK_L)

line 588 (function.ahk): font is not a valid expression
I need to use lexicos's AHK because otherwise unicode text won't work.

That is because you are running an old version of AHK_L. The source requires AHK_L 1.0.97.0+ version

I need to use lexicos's AHK because otherwise unicode text won't work.

The compiled version uses Lexikos's AHK  and unicode text will work.
I strongly discourage using the source code version.

Exe? That I have here. Pity that this tool does't seem to be developed anymore.
