I'm sure poly has better things to worry about these days anyway.

Thank you but it still does not help in my particular situation. I'm not trying to log in from a script or through command line, but from within the application, which has a well defined form for user data (see below).

username should prolly just be Drugwash
and the publish address perhaps might just be <!-- m -->ftp://autohotkey.net<!-- m -->
nothing else I will double check my own settings from home later

Never lose.
WIN or LEARN.
WIN or LEARN.
I'm not sure, but I think "Publishing Address" should just be "ftp://autohotkey.net"...no ~Drugwash. I don't know why the example in the problem has "/myusername" on the end...I don't think that would be that common for FTP...that is, unless "Publishing Address" is something different & there's some other setting, somewhere, for "host I need to connect to".
So, all usernames, when accessing FTP, should be username@autohotkey.net
...No. It used to be that way, but (semi-)recently, this changed.username should prolly just be Drugwash

OMFG, the AutoHotkey forum is IP.board now (yuck!)...I may not be able to continue coming here (& I love AutoHotkey)...I liked phpBB, but not this...ugh...
Note...
I may not reply to any topics (specifically ones I was previously involved in), mostly cuz I can't find the ones I replied to, to continue helping, but also just cuz I can't stand the new forum...phpBB was soo perfect. This is 100% the opposite of "perfect".
I also semi-plan to start my own, phpBB-based AutoHotkey forum (or take over the old one, if he'll let me)
PM me if you're interested in a new phpBB-based forum (I need to know if anyone would use it)How (or why) did they create the Neil Armstrong memorial site (neilarmstronginfo.com) BEFORE he died?

Thanks, I've tried with <!-- m -->ftp://autohotkey.net<!-- m -->, with simple username in the respective field (that is, without the @autohotkey.net) and still throws 'Login incorrect'. I've installed latest version of KompoZer few minutes ago (I had 0.7.10, now it's 0.8b3 - didn't know there was a new version) and I'll try again with that one. Will report back.
LATER EDIT:
OK, it seems that the new version of KompoZer managed to succesfully log in and upload a file. That means the old version may be buggy or incompatible with the login syntax.
It does have an issue though: keeps reconnecting for as long as the application is open, which I don't quite like because it may be considered suspicious activity and I already had trouble recently being banned for unknown (to me) reason.
Here's the working settings in KompoZer 0.8b3; password is simple, no @autohotkey.net attached:
