My company wants to compile a small library for entry-level PHP and JavaScript programmers. The people coming in have a working knowledge of the languages, so we don't want books intended to help them learn from scratch. What are some good, comprehensive books that can serve as a reference?

Thanks! :D

The official PHP documentation is the best place to go for PHP reference.

Mozilla have a comprehensive JavaScript documentation which lists support for different browsers.

It's a great way to make your website much more presentable and attractive to potential customers. There is a great book that can walk people through how to use PHP and actually make it interesting.
