How to disable ALT f4 script? anyone please help

I have my gaming mouse hotkeys to do alt and when i do alt f4 on accident it closes the game. anyone got a script to disable the action?

Alright great! Now if you would change the title of the post to [Solved] How to disable ALT f4 script? anyone please help that would be great.

How do you put the script in, every time I paste and save it the ALT F4 combo still closes the active application

Sonny:

 

1. Install the autohotkey program, you need this so your pc can understand the .ahk files. Get it here.

 

2. If you are using notepad, it will want to save the file as a .txt by default. This is wrong, it needs to be a .ahk, if you can't see the extension, look here.

 

3. Copy and paste the code, save as .ahk

 

4. Double click the newly created .ahk file. A green box with an H should appear in the lower right, this is AHK running the script.

 

5. Profit.

This does not work in most games i've played on, but will work outside of games.
