I want to write *ON* Android.

I want to program ON Android. On and for. In any language. Really. All I can ever find is writing *for* android, on my PC. Or writing web apps that can't use most of the devices features in horrible text editors, or using an awfully limited automation tool like Tasker.

Ideally, I'd be able to write full Android apps on my Android device, without having to do something silly like Teamviewer into my home PC or laptop. However, I'd settle for a scripting language or something.

Any ideas?

Edit: ok, there's AIDE for 10 bucks...

I though Ruboto IRB looked interesting.

Me too, having the same opinion! I am much interested in what he had said!

SigmaScript (Lua), installed but not tested yet.

edit: It works, but, afaik it is naked Lua with almost no real world bindings. Thus, just ignore this post...

So far I've been using KBox and bash scripts, and it works pretty well.

I use this for learning purpose, but sadly you can only use it on a PC..
