I've tried using .jpg, .png and .gif to post a topic in the help sections and I keep getting a message that I am "Not allowed to use that file extension in this forum."

What the hell is up with that????????????

Host the image on websites like imgur, and use image tags to post them here.

men-1.jpgHere is the image I originally tried to post.  Not getting any error messages now, maybe website problems at the time.

It's very frustrating to go through the process of creating and uploading images then trying to describe the problem clearly and to the best of my ability only to be told I'm not allows to post.

Yes, the forum software is buggy. The administrator does not seem to care.

Sometimes, while editing or quoting a post containing emoticons, I get the same error. I fix it by switching to BBCode mode, and back. Perhaps it may help you.
