Worst. Idea. Ever.

 

AHK makes sense for windows because our command line blows hard.  All of the low level good stuff in AHK has been around forever in BASH (most common Linux/Mac command line).  And if you enable Python, you're ahead of AHK in many ways.  All of the high level good stuff in AHK happen as a result of DLLcalls & COM functions which don't exist in Linux/Mac.  

 

EDIT: minus the huge exception of the keyboard & mouse movements.  For that (if you're on Linux/Mac) I suggest IronAHK.

was willst Du mir sagen? Ein neues Forum kann nur dann gegründet werden, wenn wir die Datenbank des alten bekommen. Glaubst Du wirklich, Du könntest Poly dazu bewegen, sie herauszurücken?

 

Poly hat keine Lust mehr auf AHK, seit er den Kampf um AHK Basic als Mainstream verloren hat. Als er bemerkt hat, dass es hier eine Mehrheit von 'Powerusern' gibt, die er nicht beherrschen kann, hat er sich darauf spezialisiert, das Forum kaputt zu machen. Er hofft jetzt genau darauf, dass diese Poweruser das Forum verlassen. Dabei denkt er nicht in Entferntesten daran, den Markennamen 'AutoHotkey' aufzugeben. Ich glaube eher, dass er sich in einem 'AHK Basic' Forum viel sicherer fühlt und glaubt, einige von den Spielern auf seine durchaus nicht immer kostenlose 'PowerBot' Seite lotsen zu können.

 

Weshalb hast genau Du Dich berufen gefühlt, dieses 'Poll' im Mutterforum zu eröffnen? Stehst Du auch auf einer Gehaltsliste? Dein 'längeres' Engagement im deutschen Unterforum ist wohl eher nicht die erforderliche Qualifikation.

Ich weiß, dass es ein neues Forum nur mit der derzeitigen Datenbank geben kann, allerdings ist deine Formulierung der Frage, inwiefern ich in der Lage bin, Poly dazu zu bewegen, diese herauszugeben, schlichtweg falsch:

Wieso sollte ich, jemand der im Vergleich zu dir erst kurze Zeit im Forum mitwirkt, Poly dazu bringen?

Habe ich das denn jemals gesagt, dass ich Poly darum beten werde?

Habe ich jemals gesagt, dass ich ein neues Forum gründen will?

Nur, weil ich mich um die Abstimmung gekümmert habe?

Wieso setzt du bitte vorraus, dass ich mich dazu berufen gefühlt habe, das zu tun?

 

Ich weiß ja nicht, ob und wie weit du den Originalthread von Drainx1 überhaupt verfolgt hast...

Falls du es getan hast, hätte dir jedoch auffallen müssen, dass viele Benutzer diese Umfrage bejaht haben und dass die hier aufgeführten Antwortmöglichkeiten, nicht nur von mir stammen, sondern eine Sammlung von jeglichen Vorschlägen aller an der Diskussion Beteiligten sind.

Zudem, habe ich ausdrücklich gefragt, ob denn jemand diese Aufgabe übernehmen würde...

If you click "archive", only the front page is a copy, the links are still pointing to autohotkey.com...

Nevermind, Importance is text and scripts, I don't care about css and image...

It was just a UrlDownloadToFile in all section page and post, else that will take one month and 500Go, 10000000M link with httrack and web 2.0 link depth and without good result but we will have all picture and other trash ad... toke me 20 hours, 205000 objects and 4.7Go... can be down less than 500Mo with 7z and some hours (redundance)...

It's a pure data, link broken, nothing work, made in urgence... Poly is too random...

i cant reply in German however consider this. There were other moderators involved in the conversation including Finc's and Lexikos. I think you had some great points about Poly's motivations. However, this situation hurts everyone and he is unwilling to Allow another developer access. Nor does he seem willing to participate in a meaningful conversation or hire someone fully in his employ to manage the situation. And even if you cite Drainx1 to contradict that last point, it would seem he is neither capable of managing said situation. The answer is a foundation under no individuals control that is directly responsible for these types of disputes. Poly has not even seen fit to respond. He is Mute either because he doesn't care or because he wants a certain population to leave for the reasons you suggest. The result hurts everyone not just his target audience. both are versions of poor management decisions. I myself have 15 years of management experience and tho I often get rowdy and say things unprofessional. I also am not in charge of anything. and i am not nor have i ever been unable or unwilling to respond apologetically when someone voices i have wronged them. Even so i cannot be compared to Poly. he has managed like a child a responsibility that he was entrusted with. I still wish to extend my hand and welcome his value and input in a new solution. but it is clear he cant be trusted to manage it.
