unbenanntw86e01y7nm.png
I prefer:
Main Address - www.autohotkey.cc (its free)
Short Address - www.ahk.cc (try to get this from the owner)
Redirect from ahk.cc to autohotkey.cc

in particular we need all of the static documentation and a welcome page.

If you mean the AutoHotkey documentation, you can extract it from the chm file, or download any version of it from the project page on github.

IMO tank, SKAN, tidbit, Finc's and a few others are the wise men of this community and should be accorded the most respect wrt to their comments. Drainx1 was fired. This is a heavy and sever emotional humiliating event A typical, normal average human being would retaliate with revenge, need to get even. That is understadable. The fact that Drainx1 seems above that, tells me to take everything he says and writes I should take suspiciously, very afraid. I am sure he is good, mature gentleman, no offense meant, just the facts of life. I would vote number 1, exept for one thing, CSS. IMO, not CSS is by itself deadly to AHK. While regular users can understand and put up without CSS, new comers or interested prospectors will find AHK laughable, degrading all the hard work over the last 10 years. Poly just has to go. Hopefully Tank can save us. I am voting number 2.

I believe that the lack of CSS for such an extended time is so destructive to new viewers that it has to be deliberate. Possibly sabotaging AHK, but why?? Has to be deliberate, not just "no time" or "preccoupied".

Polyethene simply won't care about solving the issues here. It's been like this since he changed the forum software from PHPBB to IP.Board without consulting anyone, and this lack of support (and the fact that he won't let anyone else have administrative rights) is the very reason for this fork.

There are more plausible reasons for his behaviour:

1. His behaviour:

Someone is the Admin of the forum. This someone shows nearly no activity.

This person isn't able to do/ not interested in their duty of maintaining the forum.

This person is doing some actions without consulting anyone and this person isn't responding to any message.

This person isn't contacting anybody else about the problems and isn't asking for help.

This person is able to maintain an other forum, wich gives him money.

---->

  1. Silent helper (Poly isn't able to do all these things on his own(lack of time etc.) But doesn't want to give anybody else access to do so.)
  2. Poly has problems with his company and isn't allowed to say anything about the forum. (It's unlikely I know) If that'd be the case why didn't he try to contact us personally.BTW: nnnik "at" web.de
  3. Poly isn't interested in AHK anymore. Yet wants to keep the forum (either Power trip or Company Problem) (very likely)
  4. Poly wants to destroy the community.

All these possiblitys lead to one thing:

A new forum.

Tank, that's amazing. The docs are now finally updated on the main site!!

Abandon the forum. The community has decided in a democratic vote to leave this website because of inactive and perverse administration.

Very few of the contributing members remain here.

For the people asking "why" i think it's clear that "someone" wants to keep control on all this because he still has not found a way to monetize with it.

Let's move our asses bro. We will decide what to do on http://auto-hotkey.com.
