They use webrtc in most cases they will get your IP address even when using a VPN and Proxy, if they detect you turned webrtc off and that is making up your clicks I am guessing you will get banned quickly.

The ad fraud going on is not against google, google including its video product youtube are armed well to detect fraud. Its the smaller ad platforms that get hurt and obviously the businesses using them.

If you have a youtube account go look at analytics, it tells you the browser used, the gender, the device.

Youtube knows that a percentage of viewers should be logged into their account and they know not all will use the same browser and the other data they collect.

@Omar people not just buy fake views for youtube videos of their competition, they buy them fake followers and all just to make them look bad.

People also click on ads of their competition, there you only need 5 machines and depending on the keyword it might end up costing your competition 10-50 bucks a day. Google is good at detecting this.

That's soo shameful. Google HAVE to have a way to stop this.

As for fake views on youtube videos -it's just so sad.
I feel for the poster. The problem is that it's sooooo easy to do.
Pay $5 on fiverr and knock out your competition because of fake video views.
Someone spends days and hours making content - only to be knocked out - and youtube don't want to know because they are so big.
How rubbish is that?

I used to sell on crapbay (this is what i like to call it nowadays).
You sell something and get sales ranking and are knocked out because of complaints from bogus buyers.
And they just dont give a flying f***. So unfair.

Back in the day (over 10 years ago) bots were all the rage.

Google search is not to be messed with if you want your site to still show up in search. Google has something called the sandbox, and if you do what you mentioned you might end up there.

When AHK visits a site google gets the browser (IE if you use the default methods) and also your IP and so on. Google knows what percentage of your traffic should come from what browsers and they can track IP addresses plus detect human vs bot behavior, same goes with youtube. Youtube knows human patterns of watching videos, and they know what to expect if 1000 real people came to look at a video.

Bots today still commit massive fraud. Last week there was an WSJ article that said that as much as 28% of all advertising traffic is non human, meaning fraud https://www.wsj.com/articles/fraudulent-web-traffic-continues-to-plague-advertisers-other-businesses-1522234801

Those bots are not just programs as you described, they are highly sophisticated programs designed to look like human activity. In many cases they are installed on peoples machines without their knowledge.
