Hi. Seems my account has been deactivated -- I haven't been able to log on for a few months now. I've sent a couple of help requests (with my e-mail addresses) via the Administrator contact form before coming across this thread. I'd be very grateful for a fix.

Yes, emails are still an issue. Current prios are: update PhpBB, fix captchas, new email setup.

Oi. I forgot the password to this account, it was a weird one in the end as I finally remembered it. But wanted to give FYI that A) Trying to register for a new account didn't work, B) I could not reply to this post as a guest to ask for manual activation of that other account (now moot and it can remain in limbo), and C) I requested a password reset for [i]this[/i] account and that email never arrived. When I tried requesting recovery with the wrong username+email combo, it gave error that that combo was not found. When I tried my other email address, it said something about the password reset link was sent to my email.

Email provider is Microsoft's Hotmail. This all occurred on 10/19/24 approximately 14:30 GMT.

If you're experiencing issues with activation emails, providing your username for manual activation is a helpful interim solution. Clear communication about the temporary nature of this fix reassures users while the issue is being addressed.

OK. I moved all of the posts from your other accounts (jeremyzed6250, zed6250, jeremybrown82) to this one. I don't have permission to remove those accounts, so I'll leave that to [mention]joedf[/mention] if he wants to do that. They now have 0 posts.

well whichever account that I have access to my email for. Anything ending in @xyzs.co is a catchall domain. I tried resetting my password, but since I use a catch all domain, i forgot which email I used. jeremy.b@xyzs.co or forums@xyzs.co should be assigned to zed6250jb. I'm okay keeping the account I'm currently posting on since that is what I currently have access to. Maybe just delete those other accounts if it keeps your database tidy.

There are three usernames with 6250 plus zed in them including the one you are posting from now, which all use the same email address, plus jeremybrown82, which uses a different email address. It doesn't seem to be an issue with registering, however, as each has posted a number of times. Are you making multiple accounts because you have been forgetting your login credentials? Which account do you want to keep open?

jeremybrown82 (not sure if the email on-file is still valid) and 6250zed iirc
