thanks for sharing...
what kinds of systems use the unix time and/or pe checksum of an exe in some way? could this help with false positive virus detection to differentiate a compiled script from any other?

Re: EitherMouse 0.71 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

oh, and for the source, check the "Include source code" checkbox in the installer and you will get EitherMouse.ahk in the installed directory. You can then edit the code and re-compile by running the .ahk (you must have ahk installed for this, but the resulting .exe will not be built from ...

Re: EitherMouse 0.71 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Thanks! Do you mean the static cursor left behind when using the other mouse in MultiCursor mode? If so i'll add in a selection for that... Edit: ok tested, it looks like i need to make the non-lefty cursor static image when using the other mouse a duplicate of the normal cursor, instead of a standa...

Re: Nomousy - Disable/Hide your mouse pointer [CMD]

Since this is an external utility i think its posted in the wrong section (i'm pretty sure nomousy was coded in something other than ahk) but this functionality can be done easily with native ahk nowadays, using these functions (give me a minute and i'll post them) These could easily be combined int...

Re: OnResume() - action when resume from sleep/standby/lock/etc

Thanks Please do... I mainly wanted a nice streamlined function, a full wrapper for all the power stuff would be useful, but more than i need so low priority... Function instead of label is a better idea, i'd probably implement it with a fallback of label so you could use either I didn't notice any ...

OnResume() - action when resume from sleep/standby/lock/etc

this can probably be improved upon by some of you geniuses, but here's a tidy/simple function for running a subroutine when resuming from sleep, standby or hibernate, or unlocking or logging on while running. Lots more options could be added and full wrapping of WM_PowerBroadcast and WM_WTSSession_C...

Re: EitherMouse 0.7 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

Hmm... the "Mouse Properties" window from the control panel? Thats odd, I'll have to look into it. ... ok try re-downloading 0.7 and hopefully you won't get that problem... Unfortunately that means it still probably isn't fixing the mice correctly, but at least you won't get the mouse prop...

new update: EitherMouse 0.7 - Multiple mice, individual settings...

0.7 update I think i found what was missing when detecting resume from sleep/standby, so hopefully that's working now for everyone (if not please let me know again) I added in a crude way to turn off the check for updates. I don't recommend this as all updates are improvements, bug fixes, and additi...

Re: Is picture? Know it before calling LoadPicture()

IsPicture() does not support CUR files.. ICO supports PNG, so I consider it a picture. I keep wondering if CUR format is a picture at all. Maybe when the ICO format changed with Vista+ to support PNG data, CUR did not follow suit. Before that, both were BMP based as far as I understand, with very f...

Re: Lock a folder? Topic is solved

Flipeador, still to test, but thanks!

Edit: Works great, thanks again! My intended use is to lock certain folders with a script running on a server, to prevent those root folders from being accidentally drag'n'drop'ed around by users who have open permissions for creating/deleting

[Solved] Lock a folder? Topic is solved

Hey all,

Is it possible to lock a folder in the way you can lock a file to prevent deletion/moving by another user?
file := FileOpen(FileName, "r-d")

is this possible with the LockFile function or any other way? Edit: CreateFile?
help appreciated
thanks

Re: Programmatically add cursor resource to Exe/Dll with UpdateResource api?

Edits noted, thanks again!

Its good that its at least reporting in ResHack the same as a cursor added thru itself, but I wouldn't worry about the color depth showing wrong since when used you can clearly see the cursor has more than 2 colors
