Re: Screen clipping

@Cerberus - Just an FYI- I removed the IMUGR upload from this version as I virtually never used that functionality anymore. :(

Bummer about it not working on 32 bit version. There is probably a 32 bit version of Tesseract but I don't have the time to investigate.

Joe

Re: Screen clipping

In our May webinar BlackHolyman demonstrated using Tesseract for OCR. I liked it so much I incorporated it into my screen clipping tool.

You can download the files from here and watch the demo video below

I wonder how this guy feels okay labeling this trojan the "AutoHotkey Trojan"? Since when does the entire language get smeared for some jerk's work on a specific script? http://virusguides.com/remove-autohotkey-trojan/

Then use a seperate script to grab the script. Btw- you also might need to increase the # of threads for the script. Sorry, I'm very busy now and can't write more. Reach out to me after tomorrow if you are still stuck. Joe@the-Automator.com

Re: webscraping script is stopped -> popup Topic is solved

Sadly there are a ton of reasons why you may not be able to set data. That fact your showing frames are in your path means it can be pretty tricky. :( Can you first verify you're getting text / data from the page? is the url you're accessing the one you think it is? I would run: MsgBox % wb.Location...

No, there is not. I rarely do that so didn't have that as part of the tool.

Re: webscraping script is stopped -> popup Topic is solved

use the built-in "window spy" tool from AutoHotkey to get class name / title and then use something like WinExist and WinActivate to put the focus on it.

Re: webscraping script is stopped -> popup Topic is solved

This sounds like the issue when you click on an "file download" or "file open" dialogue box (not a "pop up" but same concept). This does lock the script & IE. What I typically do is have another script running to deal with it (or I think you can have multiple thread...

Re: [Library] Chrome.ahk - Automate Google Chrome using native AutoHotkey. No Selenium!

I wasn't planning on it but that's something that, theoretically, shouldn't be too hard for you to do... I don't anticipate actually using the chrome functionality myself as I do all of my scraping with IE. I'm just excited that the basics are available for Chrome so people can automate logging-in, ...
