Re: [POLL] Commissions sub-forum

I love the idea of this both from the side that would like to have an easy way to make some money as well as be able to pay experts to help me with things beyond my knowledge! :bravo:

Re: Screen clipping

To me this seems a bit "hoakie" but if it is decent enough to suit the needs then it works! There is a an easy way to turn off the blue border which might be preferred in this case...

Re: Screen clipping

@CAH9t Every once in a while I have a similar need however It is very rare for me (and I'm guessing most other users). I'm not good enought with the GDIP library to figure out how hard it would be so, from my perspective, it is just easier to dump it into your favorite image editing software and do ...

Re: WEBINAR: Learn more about AutoHotkey with Blackholyman and Joe Glines

While AutoHotkey has some built-in ways to parse text data, there are many things you cannot do without considerable effort. Why not leverage a library that has been created to handle those difficult things? Join us next Tuesday, August 15th @ 4 EST for an overview of how to use AutoHotkey to parse ...

Re: UiPath - Robotics Automation / Desktop Automation

The very "best" score is 1. Values that are higher in number are "not as good". If you go to Alexa.com you'll see Google.com is ranked globally #1. and LinkedIn.com is ranked 25th globally. AutoHotkey.com is globally ranked 12,861 and http://the-automator.com is 912,038 globally....

Re: UiPath - Robotics Automation / Desktop Automation

Per our above interview I did some investigation on some of the popular scripting / Robotics automation tools. The metrics below are just some things that I used to get an idea of how "popular" a given tool currently is. Of course newer tools will not do as well as older ones but I wanted ...

Thanks tank! I was chatting with a friend over in China about the overall topic of Robotic / Desktop automation. UiPath - Robotics Automation / Desktop Automation

Has anybody played with UiPath?

Personally I don't see myself switching from AutoHotkey however I can see how, for non-programmers, it has a certain appeal.

Hi bobnoob,

It would be a bit time consuming for me to answer in an post. Do you want to email me at Joe@the-Automator.com and we'll plan a time to have a webex type call where I can walk you through some things?

Re: Web Scraping with AutoHotkey & COM Tutorial- GUI syntax writer and demo videos

Hi bobnoob, Yes, definitely comment out the #include default. It is a file on my computer that I use "everywhere" but is not needed. If you're using the syntax writer you should have had the "WBGet" function also pasted to that page when you used it. Basically you're trying to us...

Re: SciTE4ahk custom intellisense generator follow-up

@JnLlnd: I was looking at changing the default line break in SciTE. Perhaps you've changed the default but below is how you can control it in your User.Properties file.

# Setting default End of Line: LF for Unix, CR for Mac prior to OS X CRLF for Dos/Windows
eol.mode=CRLF
