Re: Screen clipping

I just realized what you wrote. I think you might be using an earlier version. The issue you're describing was corrected. Are you running this version?

Re: WEBINAR: Learn more about AutoHotkey with Blackholyman and Joe Glines

Our next AutoHotkey webinar this Tuesday, April 18th @ 4EST will be a "working session" where we will follow-up with live examples of what we covered in the last webinar. (so things like PostMessage, SendMessage, ACC LIbrary, etc. You can register for it and future webinars here: https://z...

Very odd! I just tested with IE11 and do not have a similar issue.

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

Awesome! Worked reliably for me. I turned off the transparency on line 320 as that bothers me but looks great! Perhaps we can have a radio button near the top to toggle transparency?

Re: Screen clipping

I think all you'd have to do find the spot where it is submitting the x/y coordinates and just provide them (then let it continue on). My script already has the functionality to save to a local folder.

Re: How to Explain Automation to a Non-Tech-Savvy

This is a great topic which I'd love to have a lot of input on. I've been using AutoHotkey for nearly 10 years now. I have a "template" to review some of the cool things you can do with AutoHotkey and review it with them over about 1 hour. While I've got a few "adopters" most hav...

Re: WEBINAR: Learn more about AutoHotkey with Blackholyman and Joe Glines

Basically we are going to pick a couple different goals and then discuss different approaches as to how they can be automated with AutoHotkey. This is a good way to teach people methods for automating. Agreed! There's no such thing as the "best" way to automate something. We're all...

I'm using Tableau and there is no hotkey for exporting images. The following will copy the default image to clipboard and paste to PowerPoint if it exists. sleepy:=75 ;************************************************************ if WinActive("ahk_class Qt5QWindowIcon"){ Send, {Alt} sleep, ...

Re: WEBINAR: Learn more about AutoHotkey with Blackholyman and Joe Glines

During the first hour of the next free AutoHotkey webinar on March 21st @ 4EST we will be demonstrating different ways to solve problems. Basically we are going to pick a couple different goals and then discuss different approaches as to how they can be automated with AutoHotkey. As always the secon...

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

@rommmcek thanks for the work on this! I tried the Zoom1.1 version. At first it didn't work, then suddenly it did (for a minute) then stopped, then went back to working again. I wonder what is going on with it... Anyway, thanks fore working on it! While the zoom setting is an annoyance, it would be ...

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

@rommmcek I just tried it with IE11 and , even wiht status bar visible, it did not work correclty at different zoom levels. :( I don't have time to dive into it now but will next week. If you get a chance to review, that would be awesome! Thank you so much for your work!!!

Re: Internet Explorer Element Spy (alternative to iWB2 Learner)

You bet! BTW- I found the source code for the iWB2 learner code. I'm not good enough to handle some things with it, but I did enlargen the gui some and remove references to index (I never used those because they change too frequently. Anybody want to give it a try? #SingleInstance, Force ;----------...

Re: [Solved]Outlook Appointment in other Calendar

When you say "save as" -what do you mean? My only guess is that you'd want to export your calendar entries... For that you could just iterate over each item and then save it locally as a file. I haven't done this with a calendar item but have with email... The other thing you might want to...

Re: [Solved]Outlook Appointment in other Calendar

@Kon- Thanks! I initially did not have the msgbox thus I only had 1 line to delete the item (and the braces were unneeded. I'll go revise it to add braces so it would work as expected. As for the appt.Subject- Yes that works. I had started off writing that and was having issues with what I was loopi...

Re: [Solved]Outlook Appointment in other Calendar

In the below I iterate over every calendar entry and search the subject line for "My Test". If it is found, it will delete the entry. This could easily be adapted to look in the body or on many different properties. Calendar:= ComObjCreate("Outlook.Application").GetNamespace(&quo...
