Re: Using IE.Document.GetElementsByClassname

You can try IE=edge as was mentioned, but also IE=9: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9"> All that is great but the point is, I have found no way to set the IE version after the document obje...

Re: Changing script to use array.... (Excel)

Thanks so much! @FanaticGuru - The adapted code is below. Your second suggestion is way simpler, but wouldn't that require the excel doc to remain open when searching? Also, is there a way to make the range dynamic based on the # of columns and rows? I messed around with it but couldnt find the rig...

Re: IE COM. Page does not support ClassName?

Hi, can it be that webpage does not supports (does not allows?) to work with Class? getElementById works fine, getElementsByTagName works fine, but getElementsByClassName does not respond at all even via F12. I have tried to get visual events, but it looks like the page does not allows to create ev...

Re: Changing script to use array.... (Excel)

You might find this much more useful then looping through all of a ranges cells to find a match. xlApp := ComObjActive("Excel.Application") Formula = =MATCH("Fanatic"&"Guru",A1:A4&B1:B4,0) FoundRow := xlApp.Evaluate(Formula) FoundValue := xlApp.Cells(FoundRow , ...

Re: Changing script to use array.... (Excel)

It works pretty well but it's slow. I have a feeling if the information was already in an array it would run much faster. Apparently I have a mental block against excel arrays because I just can't figure it out. Here is an example of creating a SafeArray from a range and then getting information fr...

Re: Clipboard HTML Help

Hi All, I have got this working with help from Google. Now I'm struggling with including this script in my original script. When I run this script within my original it just clears out all of the text and leaves the hyperlink behind. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks ^i:: Body = (join<br> <a href='%clip...

Re: How do YOU start most of your AHK scripts?

Yes, I found out that (for me) in some cases it's easier to create 18 single ahk scripts and to link the ahk files to my programable G keys. There is no "which key to assign?" - issue and I believe I was able to realize my aim faster. I'm not really sure if #include will work for me. Imag...

Re: How do YOU start most of your AHK scripts?

Well, I wonder if starting a new process is worse than executing the script by a hotkey. When starting a new process, the compiler always has to do some work. But if your script is already running (e.g. as exe or ahk) and you start it with a hotkey, it might be "less work" for the PC. It ...

You need to make sure you have the ability to create any hotkey with win+s.

You can test with this.
For the record I have no problem making a win+s hotkey in Windows 10.

An even more streamline version. PDDoc := ComObjCreate("acroExch.PDDoc") ; create an PD document object PDDoc.Open(A_Desktop "\Test\Test.pdf") ; open a pdf into the PDDoc JSO := PDDoc.GetJSObject ; this JavaScript object is mainly used by Acrobat to run its scripts engine JSO.Sav...

Re: Adobe Acrobat Pro via COM

I'm not sure if the JS object for Acrobat takes the same arguments as the AHK Com object, but the code you provided: oAcrobat.saveAs(A_ScriptDir "FileToRead.xml", "com.adobe.acrobat.xml-1-00") appears to be for JavaScript, which Acrobat of course can use extensively. Oh, I see n...

Re: Adobe Acrobat Pro via COM

Specifically it has to do with the saveAs part of the code oAcrobat.saveAs(A_ScriptDir "FileToRead.xml", "com.adobe.acrobat.xml-1-00") At a quick glance without looking at any of your other code, you have to have a "\" between your path and filename. oAcrobat.saveAs...
