Re: Outlook COM: Setting account to send from

I've been studying a lot of the MSDN properties/events over the last few days. I just read this morning on this MSDN link https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.interop.outlook.applicationevents_11_event.newmailex.aspx that processing IDs for NewMailEx should be used with caution...

Re: Outlook COM: Setting account to send from

How can I specify only e-mail with a certain subject to be a trigger? For instance, if the subject is "test123", it will trigger an action, but all other e-mails will not trigger anything. You don't try to limit what will trigger the event, you limit what you do once an event is triggered...

I'm trying to connect to exact folder and Innboks in Outlook 2016 and read messages in this folder. So far I can read messages subject, body, sendername, but I struggle to connect to exact folder and innboks. Maybe someone can help me with this? Re: How to combine multiple scripts in one?

I have a script that is compiled on the desktop with a shortcut in the startup folder. That script has quite a few different hotkeys in it that I like to all have available while I am working. I was hoping to assign a variable at the top of the script for my different passwords that I use for loggi...

Re: How to combine multiple scripts in one?

From the sounds of it in this thread, there is no way to have a "global" variable that can be used in one script that contains multiple hotkeys. I use one script to run a bunch of different hotkeys that are located in the startup folder, and one of the things that I was hoping to do is as...

Re: Running an Excel macro

This is not necessarily a new problem, but I am struggling with it. I am trying to open an Excel workbook, run a macro, then have the ahk script continue to run. I can get the file to open and the macro to run, but it goes south after that. Excel throws a hissy fit because it sees any ahk code afte...

Re: Outlook COM: Setting account to send from

FanaticGuru, this is awesome! How did you find these events, and how can I find more of them? Since Outlook 2016 disabled launching a script/exe internally via a mail "Rule", I'm looking for a way to trigger a script (via ahk) by monitoring Outlook events. For instance, to trigger a scrip...

Hello! It open a new ReplyAll window as you said and the MsgBox display as expected. But that's it, the email I wrote instead of "remove@example.com" stayed in the "To" section. It could be the RegExReplace is not being used properly to remove the email address. Also an email ad...

Re: Remove a mail into "mailto field"

I did that but it doesn't remove the mail. :( I can tell you that the code works for me. Without additional information I cannot tell you why it does not work for you. Does the reply email display? Does the MsgBox display the 'To' and 'CC' that you would expect? The more you tell people the more li...

Re: Translation of VBA to split names into title, first name, middle name, last name, suffix? Alt: Insert signed VBA?

Looking into both of those... Will keep posted. The registry values are wrong from the first link (for my version of Excel 3 is digitally signed, and 2 is with notifications), but a registry edit followed by a vba import, then insert formula, then copy and paste-values the columns, then registry ed...

I am so new that never Heard about the COM. Sorry for hijacking the thread. Regarding the Word: I am not sure it does buffer? We have "templates" in Word that we open where we have to change some things. To "jump" between where we need to change we press F11. And sometimes we ne...

Re: sending a sequence of keystrokes in MS Word Topic is solved

You have to take into consideration the speed of the computer as well thus a break between them will ensure it will work. My computer can't handle it without sleep. It switches slower and thus sends everything to fast. That is not my experience at all with MS Word. SendMode Input ; Recommended for ...
