Re: Add 3 more layers to your keyboard Using these 3 Modifiers - Easy to Program Too!

One final question if you don't mind me asking Nextron. Something like SendInput {Blind}{F8} does trigger one of my #If conditionals but SendInput {Blind}{SC029} yields ` and does not [/u] #If trigger my other conditional? In order to explain it I have to get technical and nitpicky: SendInput {Blin...

Re: Add 3 more layers to your keyboard Using these 3 Modifiers - Easy to Program Too!

When you go from Status 1 to your new Status 2...for some reason the modifier commands are still able to be triggered and I don't know why. Any #If is conditional to the hotkeys below it and overwrites any conditions set by a previous #If (they don't stack unless you explicitly write it to). So if ...

Re: ScrollLock to suspend on/off and to turn LED on/off

I have the same suspend hotkey, but I prefer the following method: ~ScrollLock:: Suspend Permit Sleep,10 Suspend % GetKeyState("ScrollLock","T") ? "On" : "Off" Return ~ to retain native function opposed to re-triggering itself, possible looping. Suspend % GetK...

Re: Codestyle: implicit and explicit concatenation

I think the periods make code look cluttered. Not using much space is just a preference. Let me illustrate with an extracted line of code I just wrote Style 1: My original code using implicit concatenation, concentrated to a single line. Style 2: Same but added explicit concatenation. Style 3: Disse...

Re: Codestyle: implicit and explicit concatenation

I just did a search in my main script for  .  and in some of my old code I did use it, but for the last couple of years I only use implicit. I don't feel explicit concat has added value except for very specific situation (like spanning multiple lines), but it does make code look cluttered. Then agai...

Re: Input, SendEvent and a Hotkey

It could be this The hotkey isn't a hooked hotkey. If no hook is installed by other means, it relies on #HotkeyModifierTimeout after the Send command, breaking the hotkey until you physically press control again. However, after Input is issued, the hook is installed so the modifier state is properly...

Re: How do I prevent monitor from turning on.. Topic is solved

Any input from an installed mouse takes your monitor out of stand by, no matter which logical events that input is translated into. You can disable the mouse in device manager so input isn't processed any more preventing the monitor from waking, but that also disables any mouse hotkeys until you re-...

Re: Keycode of Logitech MX518 non-standard button

Those keys don't send a native key-event, In order to make them work with AHK, you must use Logitech Gaming Software to assign an unused key to it (Like F13-F24, not sure § will work with AHK if it's not in your keyboard layout), so it will send key-events AHK can work with.

Converting it isn't likely going to make a difference.

Try restarting your script, or running it as admin. Are you running any other scripts?

Re: Intercepting mouse cicks

The first thing that can be a big factor is whether you're running the game fullscreen or (fullscreen) windowed. If it's fullscreen, the game cursor location likely doesn't match your MouseGetPos output, if it's windowed, it may. Secondly, I'd advise against the loop doing the checking and setting t...

Re: failure using function keys

~F12::Send, ray@rayhill1.force9.co.uk ~F10::Send, 01808521282 Not tested. Although that does force the uses of the hook, which would eliminate interfering registered hotkeys by other applications, it does pass though the native function (like F10 activating the menu bar, which is likely not what yo...

Perhaps the non-working computer already has that hotkey registered by a different application. Try changing the hotkey to $^j:: and try again. Also, try running the script as admin.

IT seems like your understanding of the sleep timer and mine are highly different. Did you actually read the documentation that Guest3456 linked before posting your "findings"? I don't get the point you're trying to make. Player hasn't replied since guest3456 's post and I'm asking Player...

It would also help if you explain how you determined this, since you're talking in microsecond scales now: How can we reproduce this.

Until then, moved from bug report to ask for help.

Re: autohotkey hide logo

That's probably partially to do with WinWait which sleeps between checks. Two things you could try: • Use Run with the Hide parameter, and after you hide the control, you use WinShow . • Instead of WinWait , use something line While !WinExist("myapp") with a Sleep -1 on the next li...
