Re: Hotstrings using final sigma (Greek alphabet)

Normally hotstrings don't trigger each other, unless you make them to do so. You could make the middle-sigma at the end of a word replace to final-sigma which then triggers any of the the final-sigma spelling hotstrings. :?O:σ:: SendLevel,1 SetKeyDelay,0,0 SendEvent ς%A_EndChar% Return ::γλαυκος::γλ...

Re: Script not working correctly if launched from Task Scheduler

Aa, so it starts with task scheduler, then all my programs are loaded, then script re-hooks after 35 seconds, right? You can have it start up any way you want, that's not important for this script. However the task scheduler does allow you to easily start a process with administrative permissions, ...

Re: Steam Overlay affecting Auto Correct

Nextron's solution neither works, Have you tried the function with higher delays and press duration, because they could still be too short? I can't help testing because as soon as I set a hotstring to SendEvent mode, it already works properly (natively or using the function). nor would be useful if...

Re: Script not working correctly if launched from Task Scheduler

It means the hook is reapplied 35 seconds after the script is started, just once. If you would use Reload, it would basically loop the script which would cause it to reload repeatedly which is probably not something you want.

Re: Script not working correctly if launched from Task Scheduler

How about you add the following lines to the top of your script and have it start using task scheduler again: #UseHook,On Sleep,35000 Suspend,On Suspend,Off This would make sure the hook is used for every hotkey, hopefully preventing dictionary service from starting. The delayed suspend toggling, di...

Re: Keyboard with unique custom button

I understand, but the output of those keys is likely configured in the keyboard firmware, outside of your control. Even though you press a single button, the keyboard outputs signals indicating that the user pressed Win+L. So you (AHK) can only react to that output. If you want to differentiate betw...

Re: Keyboard with unique custom button

Your best bet is to just create a AHK hotkey for each combination.
Win+L just happens to be a special one that Windows intercepts before AHK unless you disable it to lock the workstation: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=4600

Re: Basic Warframe Auto Login

Sure: Replace the line KeyWait,Enter,DT90 with Sleep,40000 . Here 40000 is the amount of millisecond to wait after the play button is automatically pressed, before typing the password. In this case 40 seconds. You can time how long the loading takes for you and add a couple of seconds to account for...

Re: Flipping LWin/LAlt: gets stuck Topic is solved

Try running the script as administrator and see if that makes a difference. 'Everything' might run as admin or have a hook installed, which could interfere with AHK's detection of the up-event of the key.

Re: Basic Warframe Auto Login

The second script.

Before the second to last line (the one with your password), add a line with the command Soundbeep. Save your script and retry launching/logging in to Warframe with it. When at the login prompt and you hit enter, listen if you hear a single beep or not.

Very nice! :thumbup: Fancy stuff.

When I first saw them I was startled by the price for an external keypad... then I realized the graphical display buttons which opens up possibilities not just for key identification but status feedback too. :mrgreen:

Do you already have a use case in mind?

To avoid a artificial output triggering a hotkey, use a hooked hotkey (notice the $):

NumpadEnd::Send ^c

Re: Basic Warframe Auto Login

I just updated the game for the first time in years and tried the login script, but for me it still worked, so the problem isn't due to game changes.

you could try placing a Soundbeep line, before the Send,PASSWORD, so you can hear if and when the pass is typed as a debug measure.

Moved to 'Ask for help'.

AHK has shutdown commands built-in; try this:

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

!s::Shutdown,9 ;Shutdown+Power down
!r::Shutdown,2 ;Reboot

Sorry, but that's totally unrealistic! A relatively small rock displacing hundreds of metric tons of earth.
Although, maybe if it was like, super positively magnetic it could repel a lot of slightly negative earth, right? :thumbup:

Why do meteorites always hit craters? https://www.the-postillon.com/2018/07/meteorites-hit.html Wow... now that I think of it, that is kind of amazing. If those scientists couldn't figure it out, who am I to postulate. However, I think it has to do with the ridges erected around the crater, creatin...
