Re: A Github organisation for ahkscript

Isn't this a solution to host git-repositories on private servers, whereas github, bitbucket or gitlab are hosting services? Nice anyway ....

Re: Where is the "BBCode Guide"?

I once maintained an enhanced version of the "BBCODE-Guide" - the sources are still available (https://github.com/hoppfrosch/AHKScript_BBCodeGuide). I stopped working on this, as there was no feedback on changes on BBCode within this forum and no infromation on injecting my page in this fo...

Just an idea: After identifying its really a bug - why not file it as github-issue?

Re: AHK v1 → AHK v2 Topic is solved

As you might not have seen: Coco himself already started porting to AHK2 - but did not continue his work to the latest AHK V2 version. He seemed to deprecate JXON.ahk.

I updated Coco's work to be compatible with currently latest AHK v2.0-a081 recently. I also made a pull request for my changes

Obscure unmatched parantheses in While-Loop Topic is solved

Hi there, I'm trying to iterate over all matches within a string using RegExMatch within a While-Loop: FoundPos := 1 len := 0 str := "aaaa aabb bbbb bbcc cccc ccbb bbbb bbaa aaaa" pattern := "O)b{4}" While (FoundPos := RegExMatch(str, pattern, Match, FoundPos + len)) { MsgBox(Mat...

Re: Lintalist 1.9 Searchable interactive lists to copy & paste text with plugins

Here here here! I would probably use it! ;) I'm looking for a template system (written in AHK) to automate/simplify the generation of the awesome AHK-page on github. For sure this can easily be done in any other scripting language - but how awesome is AHK, if it's a major barrier to implement a temp...

Re: Lintalist 1.9 Searchable interactive lists to copy & paste text with plugins

I already got to the point so that you can simply call a function like [[function(parameters)]] it sees there is no = and then knows its a function. This is a test with a user [[func1(1,2,3)]] function and AHK [[SubStr("AutoHotKey",5,3)]] function the result is (func1 just adds th...

Re: How to return paramaters from a function

Not quite sure what you mean with "pass back parameter of a function" - but this works with AHK 1.1: test(var1) { MsgBox, %var1% ; <---- notice the missing "," in your example ; or: MsgBox % var1 X := 2 * var1 return X ; <--- function passes back the contents of a variable } numb...

For Firefox we might be able to use the same mechanism via remote debugging port .... see: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/doc ... erver_port

Too many fixed topics

In my eyes there are way too many fixed topics within most sections of this forum. Almost within on each section the complete opening view is occupied with fixed topics. Visting the forum nearly daily, it's annoying to have to sroll down to see the new things (and as a daily visitor I know the conte...
