Re: jeeswg's benchmark tests

It's not so much the original suggestion post that is the problem, it's that it's part of a package, a trend, the cause of which I know not. I don't view the suggestion post as innocent, or done in good faith, or as having anything to do with moving the thread, but as part of serving some curious g...

Re: How important is two-way compatibility function library?

i have done this for the Gdip library with the help of others: https://github.com/mmikeww/AHKv2-Gdip however, v2 was explicitly created to BREAK COMPATIBILITY, which means that it will be infeasible to accomplish this for some code. eventually you will just be converting everything back down to DllC...

Re: why was LoopParse (no space) removed?

i just kind of see it in the same vein as the sub-commands which are now removed and split into their own commands. and thats what the oneword LoopParse resembled. it just makes more sense imo

Re: Save AHK-Operation: winSend, winClick and more

One of the biggest issues concerning stable operation is that send and click commands are being received by the correct window. If the sends drop in too early or too late or if the user interferes, you easily get a mess. you should give an example that we can test, where the normal Send command fai...

Re: Dlg2 v0.3 - Common Dialogs

v0.3 Minor release to fix a few minor bugs that have been on the books for a while. See the Release Notes section in the first post for the details. This version of the library requires AutoHotkey v1.1+. The previous version of the library ( v0.2 ) is still available. It will run on any version of ...

Re: GDI+ standard library 1.45 by tic

Am I correct in understanding that everyone should use the mmikeww AHKv2-Gdip version? It seems to be the most compatible. (I actually use AHK 1.1) That is meant to be used for AHK v2, but it should also be compatible with AHK 1.1. You can use that or you can use the normal Gdip_All.ahk, which ever...

this doc lists the changes:

its on the website but not part of the help file. it probably should be part of the v2 help file

same line if/then removed?

this used to work in v2-a078

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

; if true, msgbox "hi"
if true, msgbox("hi")

seems like it fails since v2-a079

docs still say it should work. i personally dont care if its removed, just giving heads up if its a docs mistake or a bug
