Re: Mouse And Keyboard Macro Recorder

I've updated it to v4.0 to write more complex scripts, but it's more complex for use, and some private preferences are not suitable for everyone. So I restored the previous version, only to achieve simple functions, to facilitate the use of novice. maybe you can post both versions so users can choo...

Re: GDI+ standard library 1.45 by tic

Edit: After some more re-thinking I believe that the function shouldn't be changed. Existing scripts might get 'wrong' results after updating to the new version. This is my conclusion as well. I've summed it up with screenshots here: https://github.com/mmikeww/AHKv2-Gdip/issues/17#issuecomment-3914...

Re: GDI+ standard library 1.45 by tic

In that Example 8, he does mention that the only time you'd need to pass the Width/Height params is if you want to use the percentage features of x/y/w/h. I think that's only half the truth, because they are used if w or h are not found in Options : ... Width := Width1 ? Width2 ? IWidth*(Width1/100...

if (x == "") || (y == "") || (w == "") || (h == "") return -1 What about if x=="abc"? Let replace with: try { _:= x + y + w + h ;check all if numbers } catch { return -1 } x="abc" only if the user did something like this: Gdip_BitmapFromSc...

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

i voted yes without reading. after reading, i want to change my vote to no. if it were cheaper then sure grab it, but i don't like the idea of paying 3k to criminal squatters the link says: "Call (480) 505-8877 for buying assistance" i wonder if we can call and negotiate. saying that you'r...

Re: Type mismatch. AutoHotkey_2.0-a096-2ad11cb

i've updated the v2 Gdip library:
https://github.com/mmikeww/AHKv2-Gdip/c ... 0e91c64b84

this changed in v2-a95:
Changed math functions and operators to throw an exception instead of returning "" for errors.

Re: Sticky Shift

What will help my pinkies even more is if I can totally not use them to Shift at all. Is it possible to trigger StickyShift with a tap of the ALT key while holding ALT+X should provide the normal ALT operations. I thought about this too. Using thumb for Alt keys to shift is another nice alternative...

Re: The very powerful exception function

this is a great tutorial, and one i wish i've had before.. some bugs are a pain to find. this does require a little bit of overhead in designing your functions and thinking ahead of the possible errors to throw. but probably saves more time in the end
