Re: command links in codeboxes are broken

Since v1.1.28, the sidebar uses a frame to speed up the navigation in the docs, just like the offline help. In short, when a page such as https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/EnvSub.htm opens for the first time, you will automatically be redirected to https://autohotkey.com/docs/frame.htm#commands/...

Re: if var in/contains comma-separated list/array

- Out of interest. If in/contains became functions, what should they be called. they shouldn't be functions, so the question is irrelevant. they are much nicer as operators which can handle multiple operand types : list := "one, two, three" if ("one" in list) msgbox, true arr := [...

chrome 64.0.3282.167

Re: Invalid return type for DllCall Topic is solved

I doubt that DllCall "CloseHandle", h_process is working in v1. If you pass an even number of parameters to DllCall(), the last parameter must be the return type (which can be a variable). yes obviously the code should be DllCall "CloseHandle", "uint", h_process DllCal...

Re: Random "bugs" in Autohotkey? Topic is solved

Sometimes it does not work and what it does is delete what was selected, without replacing it with anything... likely one of the ClipWait's are failing and just returning try this code and see what it reports when it fails: ^u:: KeyWait, Ctrl KeyWait, u Send, {Ctrl Down}x{Ctrl Up} ClipWait, 1 if (E...

can you state what exactly you are doing when it fails? what app are you using? what keys are you pressing? are you running the ^u script standalone or as part of a larger script?

Re: Random "bugs" in Autohotkey? Topic is solved

Xtra, after like 20 tries, your solution seems to have nailed it. A different approach, and it seems to be working perfectly! Not a single random or wrong result! Awesome! You should inform anyone of this, it's great! I believe I will implement your solution for all my scripts, with the Send, {Ctrl...

Re: Athletic Case Format

Total AHK novice here, so I apologize if my question is obtuse. First of all, give yourself some more credit. You've already thought through the problem very well, and you've come up with your solution/algorithm: Check that variable, if <2, run the above script as normal. Else, send from the clipbo...

Re: if var in/contains comma-separated list/array

It might not be 'convenient' when writing scripts, but it is 'convenient' for me when 'parsing' scripts whith my built-in parser, my eyes. 90% of programming is reading and editing code. the initial writing is of so little importance that it hardly matters. this is why style guidelines, inde...
