Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements
i'm using xp 1. XP should go the way of the dodo, upgrade to something decent like Windows 7. Don't expect current software to keep working on obsolete systems. 2. There is the online help documentation: https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/index.htm - you can copy the html here https://github.com/...

Indeed SOME users want it, saying that it is voiced by ALL users is certainly not correct. I wouldn't take the risk.joedf wrote:... but some want to and it wouldn't be right for me to ignore what is voiced by all users.

Re: [POLL] Commissions sub-forum
Woah woah! This is getting a little out of hand! And this is just talking about it, guess what happens if it is actually there and money is involved, sooner or later it will backfire (someone will double cross someone etc). I would not recommend to add it, there is already a well established commun...

here you go: https://gwarble.com/ahk/Notify/ ... i'll make a new thread for it when i have a chance  Thanks! I lost the example code so I can now see how the progress bar code was supposed to work again :) Just in case you've missed it: a nice question here https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewt...

Re: EitherMouse 0.67 - Multiple mice, individual settings...
On another note, with many thanks to very generous user Tyler, I'm happy to report that EitherMouse.com now has a real web host, not my home server, so speeds are incredibly fast, SSL certificate, all kinds of features I don't know what to do with but I'll probably design a modern site at some poin...

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements
The AHK logo on the top left of the pages in the online documentation has a link back to the start https://autohotkey.com/docs/AutoHotkey.htm which is OK but it has a target=_blank so if you click it will open in a new tab each time. I find that a bit confusing. Perhaps done on purpose but I'd rathe...

Re: ZipFile [AHK v1.1 and AHK v2.0]
I would use the @listfiles method - create a text file in ahk, pass it on to 7z and you're done.
https://sevenzip.osdn.jp/chm/cmdline/sy ... m#ListFile
( Edit: this 7z discussion should be split from this thread as it has nothing to do with ZipFile by coco. )

Not all BB tags are allowed for Guests I believe, so when guests post and they use COLOR it won't work here in the new forum. If possible only showing the BB tags (buttons) that are allowed for guest posts would help a bit so they can't use it without typing them manually. On the other hand it doesn...

Re: adding tf.ahk library result in utf error
Are you download the correct file? https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hi5/TF/master/tf.ahk there is no "utf" on line one there, unless you copied it and made a mistake. And the file should be saved as tf.ahk not tK.ahk if you are using it in your library (LIB folder) if you #include as in your exampl...

Some more redirect issues (not saying they should be fixed) Examples: http://www.autohotkey.net/~faqbot/faq.html This page works. These fails: http://autohotkey.net/~faqbot/faq.html -> doesn't work as you're redirected to https://www.autohotkey.com/net/~faqbot/faq.html (you could argue it isn't supp...

Programs that "block" AutoHotkey - Why is AHK not working?
Not sure how useful this list will be but it seems that on a regular basis there are posts like "why does AHK not work (anymore)", after trial and error it is usually a variety of programs that block or interfere with AutoHotkey. Perhaps a maintaining a list will be helpful for people who search. In...

Re: 24-hour ban??
I think its a bit to strict, if you mention the word autohotkey it is already enough to be banned it seems.
It would be useful if guest would be allowed to link to autohotkey.com links so they can refer to other (archived) forum posts and documentation.

Re: Wiki: Translate the Tutorial for beginners to your language
As the wiki is now offline, the tutorial has been replaced, the FAQ incorporated in the help, this thread could either be removed or no longer being sticky?
(I see no need for the Wiki to return either)

Thanks for posts proposal
Some forums have a "thanks button" that way other members can thank someone for script or response without the need to create a post. The "thank you" can also be used to sort posts although I don't recommend that, just a "thank you" would be nice enough. Info and screenshots https://www.phpbb.com/cu...

Not sure if it is important but on FF there seems to be a difference between the new and old boards with the info provided, note the icon before the URL with and without a ! mark. One is verified the other one isn't.

Re: HARU Free PDF Library
If you use the ANSI version you could still use Thrawns wrapper for libharu - it works - would be nice if someone with skills to prepare a Ansi/Unicode version so it automatically works with all ahk versions http://www.autohotkey.com/board/topic/40659-wrapper-for-libharu-creates-pdfs-stdlib-r1-2009-...
