I decided that I was satisfied enough with my progress to go ahead and release the code.

Re: Examples of Non-Standard GUIs (ActiveX, GDI, etc.)

This time I've tried to create a Gui that looks like Google's Material Design. It needs better optimization, and a few tweaks, but I'm finally ready to release the code. Let me know what you think! Files are attached to this post. Contents of attachment: MaterialDesign.ahk images\MenuActiveBg.png im...

Re: Material Design Gui

very nice. are you using windows based controls or is this html loaded with activex control? I'm using AutoHotkey built-in controls (Picture, Text, etc.) -- NO HTML. My first attempt used a hidden Tab2 control. I added different controls to separate tabs and switched between the different tabs to c...

Material Design Gui

I'm working on a Material Design interface based on Google web services using a similar UI.

I'm currently referencing the Google Contacts website for the initial design.

Just wanted to share a screenshot of my work so far...

Somtimes programs take a bit to react to you commands. Agreed. Try with Sleep in between lines. #SingleInstance, Force #IfWinActive, ahk_class rctrl_renwnd32 F1:: Send, {Alt Down}NT{Alt Up}{Enter} Sleep, 500 Send, {Shift Down}{Right}{Shift Up} Sleep, 500 Send, {Alt Down}JTH{Alt Up}{Home}{Down}{Ente...

Re: GuiControl Focus is unable to change focus to a button Topic is solved

Great! You may want to modify IfWinActive to only send the Enter hotkey when the "Test" window is from AutoHotkey. You wouldn't want it to trigger if another window is visible that also is titled "Test". #IfWinActive Test ahk_exe AutoHotkey.exe #SingleInstance, Force Gui, Margin,...

Re: Suspend and Kill all Scrips

You can minimize your code by using a function: #SingleInstance, Force Home:: ; Suspend AHKSuspendKill("S", "1Replace", "2Replace", "3Replace", "4Replace") return End:: ; Kill AHKSuspendKill("K", "1Replace", "2Replace", ...

Does it work as expected if you use the SpaceBar key instead of the "Enter/Return" key to press the focused button??

I don't understand. Just don't include the dots in the ToolTip command. The ToolTip still works without the dots on Windows 7. Are you experiencing a different behavior? #SingleInstance, Force #Persistent AutoTrim, Off spaces := " " ToolTip, % spaces "`n" spaces "`n" sp...

Re: FileGetShortcut: Wrong 'OutTarget' for 64 bit program files

It sounds like you're executing the code using the 32-bit version of AutoHotkey. If you run the code using the 64-bit version (AutoHotkeyU64.exe), the path is reported correctly. I wrote a function to help you with this issue. See below: MsgBox, % ShortcutGetTarget("C:\test.lnk") ShortcutG...

Re: Hover cursor outside of GUI

I think you should be able to use OnMessage(0x2A3, "WM_MOUSELEAVE")

See my post here: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?p=149837#p149837

I use WM_MOUSELEAVE to hide images when the mouse leaves the GUI.
