Re: WinSet: Can't add/remove styles if N is a Constant

probably need to do
-%WS_MINIMIZEBOX%

it's a variable, not a constant. just because it's in a separate file doesn't make it a constant :) (and ahk doesn't have them, afaik)

Re: ! or 'not' to validate an expression in an if statement as false? Topic is solved

also, the "if var in/contains/type" style if's are on a separate page than normal if's for a reason: they are different than normal if's. they are not expressions, cannot use (), cannot use with || && and so on. they need to be EXACTLY as documented on their own page, not as docume...

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements

Joe: everedit. costs $$$. I no longer recommend it. new releases are super buggy and development has basically died. jeeswg: 'both' is more effort for the only ahk dev. 1 would probably be best. If someone, like you, feels like creating the 'new & buggy' one AND maintaining it with every release...

Re: Suggestions on documentation improvements

any reason the chm was changed in 1.28? Is it easier to maintain? if not, why fix what aint broke? it's messing with my editor. in my editor, I could just press F1 and it'd open ahk's docs to either the selection or a dead page if no selection. Now with the new one, I just get a blank page, can't ev...

Re: New Tips and Tricks forum

"That's what we've got at the moment. I'd be happy with 'General AutoHotkey' or whatever, as a subforum of Offtopic or somewhere else." which is what I've been asking for for **years**. a 'General Chat' (General discussion, AHK chat, etc. whatever name it could go by) forum inside the 'Aut...

Re: Icon Pro [GUI]

thanks! I've made many icons for people and it's annoying loading in GIMP and creating a bunch of layers, resizing each, puting each in proper order.
always been to lazy to find a simpler way. this helps a lot!

Re: AHK Tutorial No Longer Working

It works for me. However, I have a browser addon that makes all pages dark (well, tries to. it's okayish). and maybe a week+ ago it no longer makes the whole docs page dark, only the sidebar, not the page content itself. So something most likely did change. also, don't make screenshots as pdf >_> th...

I wonder if that means our ISP will reduce our bill by $3 since they raised it by $3 "to keep you neutral" or w/e.

This looks really impressive, surprised it doesn't have more replies. anywho, I decided to try it but I get this error (both the 'source' and 'installed as portable' version): https://i.imgur.com/sFw6aF1.png it then continues on to the game, but when you go to play, it's all blank. no images. though...

Re: Syntax and naming conventions?

never use := %
:= is an expression.
single % forces a non-expression to an expression.
since := is an expression, single % is useless.

Re: [GUI] Grid selection GUI

oh, for gaps that doesn't matter with mousegetpos. I store the selection whenever one is hovered, so if it goes out of a tile, it still has the last saved selection. but you could maybe do something like.. if (A_GuiControl="") return ; or something else. "don't do anything if nothing ...
