Re: Setup Notepad++ for AutoHotkey

Thanks! Though, both solutions are nice, it's too much deletion for my liking. I'm currently implementing something like this at the moment. It seems to be doing what I want so far. :b0*:iniread`,:: { ahkDocTip(A_ThisHotkey) return } :b0*:iniwrite`,:: { ahkDocTip(A_ThisHotkey) return } :b0*:inidelet...

Re: Setup Notepad++ for AutoHotkey

I have this all working. I'm just wondering, has anyone been able to get parameter hints working on a comma separated command (ex. IniWrite)?

Re: How to update a DateTime gui control ??

You should really take that GuiControl out of the function and have your function return the value for the control. You almost have BoBo's answer correct. just not quite right. Try this... GuiControl,, DatumInDienst, % MyFunction(data10) ; the return value of the function will be here GuiControl,, D...

Re: F3 command

Just before your "x" command put in a call to F3 and see if your script triggers it. Most likely it's executing the F3, but just not in the way you are expecting. Maybe your focus isn't on the correct window? F3::Msgbox x:: ... ; your existing code Also, do the modifier keys not work for y...

Re: question about window groups

The MsgBox does matter because you are making another window (the MsgBox) the active window briefly, and you are adding the active window to the group before you know it has had time to become active again. And it may take longer for Excel windows to become active. boiler is correct in this situati...

Re: IE COM issue Topic is solved

getElementsbyName returns an array of elements that match. So, you need to click the x match of that array. Even if there is one, you would need to click the first element ( wb.document.getElementsByName("Login")[0].click() ) in the array. Does your login button have an id...

Re: How to call a one-line hotstring? Topic is solved

You're confusing the difference between a hotkey and a hotstring . Wouldn't you just want the hotstring to be executed when you type ;in instead of using a hotkey? Basically, you're asking the Send command to send the following keystrokes: :*:;in when in-fact, all you want is just the hotstring. #If...

Hello! Welcome to the Forums! What is the hotkey you are using to trigger F3? Can you post all of your code? Don't forget to use "[ code ][ /code ]" tags! ;)

Re: Loop parse

What are the contents of Variable1? Is it a file path to a file or something else. Loop, Read reads a file. If something else you're looking for a different kind of loop.

Re: How to update a DateTime gui control ??

Also, notice in BoBo's answer, he removed the global from the function and is returning the result; assigning newDate as that result. Local variables are specific to a single function and are visible only inside that function. Consequently, a local variable may have the same name as a global variabl...
