Re: Loss of appetite

Thanks for the replies. @Gio, that seems like a good article and I will give it a read. @TheDewd, I have spurts of AHK community involvement. It comes and goes for me. Lately, it's been gone for me (hence my quietness on the forums). When I do contribute, I also feed off the dopamine fix from others...

Loss of appetite

Lately I've been experiencing a loss of appetite for coding and development. Even personal projects; ya know the ones that are supposed to keep you excited about what you do for a living. My main job is a .net developer where my counter-part is practically a savant and creates all these awesome thin...

Re: IP Graffiti

Not a ton, no. I need to migrate it to a more secure location first before I push it out to more people and social media. Wanted to get a feel first if people liked it or not. So, thank you for the feedback!

Re: IP Graffiti

Haha! My hopes are that you will be able to go to a coffee shop (like Starbucks) or something similar and see other people's notes there. Thanks for playing around with it. I appreciate any feedback you or anyone can give me on it.

IP Graffiti

This was a very small project I had idea for and wanted to put it into action to see if anyone else thought it was as cool as I made it up in my head. My wife doesn't get it and another friend of mine doesn't get it, so I need more feedback to say the least; a larger focus group so-to-speak. So, tha...

Re: A Call for Sanity - Tasks, Notes, Email & Reminders

Thanks for the dynalist suggestion. I will check it out -- glad to see it is on the appstore too :) i dont really use reminders anymore. i tried a few times with the other apps but i found that i was spending too much time postponing and rescheduling things than actually doing the things themselves ...

@joedf, what was your method? jquery injection into the console? I did that on my second go-round. Used a bit of ahk to spam the buttons, and was going to setup a greasemonkey script, but lost interest.

Re: A Call for Sanity - Tasks, Notes, Email & Reminders

Thanks derz00. I think I tried todoist at one point. Can't remember why I ditched it, maybe I'll give it another go. What do you like about it?

What do you use as your email client?

A Call for Sanity - Tasks, Notes, Email & Reminders

I need help. I have been struggling for the last year or so with trying to find the right combination of software to manage my tasks, emails, reminders and notes (or my TERN stack as I like to call it). I thought after using so many different pieces of software, the right one would naturally fall in...

Re: A Slack.com organisation for ahkscript

bummer. -- i also just logged into the discord, and there are a lot more users there than I thought. Do we really need slack at this point? Or would having multiple options appeal to some do you think? I vote for slack (for selfish reasons like not having a bunch of different chat clients), but if d...

Re: A Slack.com organisation for ahkscript

I would, but that is one thing Admins cannot do and has to be done by an "Owner" role. Check out the screenshot I posted in the #general channel: https://ahkscript.slack.com/files/U8EMB ... _40_am.png

Ha! Good point. I didn't realize how small this thread actually was until you replied. If it's all crickets there, we should try to push it out to more members. I'm kind of digging it so far.
