Re: Strange issue with key remapping WASD keys.

In that script, the Send w in the +w:: hotkey definitely triggers the w::Up hotkey Note how if you hold shift and hit w, the cursor moves up a line. Just add #InstallKeybdHook to the start of the script. https://autohotkey.com/docs/commands/_InstallKeybdHook.htm AutoHotkey does not install the keybo...

Logitech Gaming Software F13-F24 enabler (Unused keys to trigger AHK actions)

Just figured this out... You know if you want to use your logitech device (eg Mouse or G13) with AutoHotkey, you need to map your device to a key, which autohotkey then responds to, but you need to work out which keys are not going to interfere, or use modifiers (which causes more problems). I have ...

Re: Additional keypad recommendations for more buttons?

Hehe, even better... Open LGS, position your mouse over the + mark by the "Commands" panel on the left, then hit F1. It makes the first binding, then you click OK yourself and it remembers the position of the OK button and does the remaining 11 binds for you. You can then just drag keys F1...

Re: Additional keypad recommendations for more buttons?

AHA! I stand corrected, you CAN make Logitech Gaming Software send F13-F24 Create an AHK script: SetKeyDelay, 50, 50 F1:: Sleep 2000 Send {F24} return Double click the option in LGS to create a new binding, then change to a different window. Hit F1, then within 2 seconds, click the LGS window. The A...

Re: Additional keypad recommendations for more buttons?

I think I understand you. A G13 for example has buttons labelled like G1-G20 Without the logitech software running, the device is effectively not a keyboard, it is a custom "HID" device that does nothing. The logitech software allows you to map normal keyboard keys (or sequences) to those ...

Re: Strange issue with key remapping WASD keys.

Surely ^e::e should not trigger itself? If you Send e while ctrl is held, then AHK will release ctrl, then send e, then re-hold ctrl. Blind mode turns off this behaviour, and would cause ^e to effectively be sent c]^e::^e[/c] or ^e::Send {Blind}{e} would self-trigger. Still not sure why this does no...

Re: Strange issue with key remapping WASD keys.

Actually the opposite, I would prefer Shift+A to still work like before, but just A to send a LeftArrow - while held down. However with the remap function it seemed I had to remap the shifted keys too a:: triggers if A is held, it will NOT trigger if you hold shift and hit a. What is possibly happe...

Re: Additional keypad recommendations for more buttons?

@boiler it depends.
If he is using it for a game that has bindings to CTRL, ALT and Shift, then that precludes the use of any modifiers.
Also, many games will ignore modifier state, so using a hotkey for CTRL+SHIFT+W is still probably going to move the character forward.

Re: DPI

Absolutely nothing other than software that comes with your mouse can truly alter the DPI of your mouse. Windows Pointer settings are totally unrelated. All that can be done is to "Hook" input from your mouse and either drop (To decrease DPI) or duplicate (To increase DPI) to simulate this...

Re: need help modifying this script made by someone else

Did you include this bit of the code in your script?

Code: [Select all]GeSHi © Codebox Plus

if not A_IsAdmin
{
Run *RunAs "%A_ScriptFullPath%"
ExitApp
}

This makes sure that the script is running as Admin, which is one of the primary causes of scripts not working with games.

Re: MouseGetPos

Are you trying to detect mouse pointer position while playing a mouse-aim FPS game? If so, you are probably doing it wrong - most mouse-aim FPS games utterly ignore the mouse cursor. If they did use the position of the mouse cursor, then you could only turn until the pointer hit the edge of the scre...

Re: Strange issue with key remapping WASD keys.

I think the issue is my rebind of Shift+A to 'itself' - I had to do this since otherwise it would be Shift+LeftArrow obviously. I think you have misunderstood how AHK hotkeys work. It will always fire the "longest" hotkey before "shorter" hotkeys a:: MsgBox YOU HIT A return +a::...

"The code is working fine without any problem" Then you must have pasted incomplete code. It exits as soon as it starts. If State=0 State=Off else State=0 SetTimer SendKey, %State% "If State is 0, then turn the timer off, but if it is non-zero then fire the timer with NO DELAY" T...

Re: Additional keypad recommendations for more buttons?

By default, AHK cannot distinguish between different keyboards, so if you declare a hotkey to F1, it will trigger if you press F1 on any keyboard. G13 keys are not normal windows keys. You would either need to implement something like RawInput, or remap the G13 using the provided software to keys th...

Re: Universal Control Remapper (UCR) - v0.1.17 21st Aug 2017

1. Not sure, mouse support in this version of UCR is not great. What are you trying to achieve? 2. No import / export, but you can send someone your INI file. INI files are also in standard JSON, so you could theoretically edit them. This is something we intend to address in the new version, we want...

Re: [Class] LV_Colors - 1.1.04.01 (2016-05-03)

Ah, I was going about things the wrong way - if the C# code is being loaded as a library from AHK, then of course I can just hook the messages meant for the AHK GUI (Local hook, not global hook). ManagedWinapi has stuff built-in for this it seems, so now I can hook into the messages sent to the List...

@langos99
When you move a mouse, it sends data very very quickly.
AutoHotkey cannot keep up very well.
The new version of UCR we are writing in C# should be better.

Ah, I think I just figured out what it is.
I don't think it is happening when I browse *this* forum, I think it is happening when I browse (?or view google results containing?) AHKScript.org pages.
