Re: How do I edit a drop down list displaying too many options? Topic is solved

You could add a specific string just above the hotkeys in a comment. In case that the hotkeys are for sure at the end of the file.
With loop/regex/instr you could detect the line and start searching/reading from there.

Re: Gui control mit funktion als label

Hi BoBo,

Es hilft sehr, wenn man z.B. Eine Library schreibt, da man dann keine Labels nutzen muss, sondern alles abkapseln kann.

Wolf2: mit Labels ging es auch . Wenn ich mich recht entsinne gibt es a_guicontrol

CHM file from ZIP doesn't show any content

Version 1.1.27.07
The CHM file extracted from the zip file of 1.1.27.07, only shows an empty Gui when started.
The CHM file extracted from the installer works well.

Re: AHK Auto Formatter?

Hi BoBo,
the last years I've moved around the globe but have always been here (at least reading/scanning the active topics). I also recognized that you "came back" after a period of silence. :) So I can say the same: Schön von Dir wieder zu lesen.

semicolon has to be escaped within a literal text

Don't realy know if this is a bug. But since it is against my expectation, I post in this forum section. A semicolon has to be escaped within a literal text when a space or tab is to it's left. Column = C Excel("=WENN(ISTLEER(B4) ; " . Column . "3 ; B4)") ; AHK is throwing Error:...

Re: Increment Columns in Excel

you have put too many % around variables. In an Expression you do not deref the vars.
E.g. cnt := cnt +1
This applies to nearly all yoour code lines. The only line where the % signs are correct is in the MsgBox line (ne Expression)

Detect empty associated array of an associated array Topic is solved

I have an associated array A that holds associated arrays Bs. How can I detect if one of the B Arrays has become an empty array {}? B1 := {K1: "V1", K2: "V2"} B2 := {K3: "V3", K4: "V4"} B3 := {K5: "V5", K6: "V6"} A := {X: B1, T: B2, C: B3} ...

Re: Commands vs Functions

When i started with AHK I had some experience with other languages. So the concept of function was known to me. Still I liked to start off with command syntax. It really was easy to grasp. Currently I mainly write functions. But that is due to experience with larger projects (encapsulated variables)...
