Re: How to build Autohotkey_H source code? Topic is solved

The code from malcev would not work if you change the amount of empty characters between letters, e.g. here we have only 3 empty characters in between. pw = pwd == g_default_pwd ? (TCHAR) _T("A\0\0\0u\0\0\0t\0\0\0o\0\0\0H\0\0\0o\0\0\0t\0\0\0k\0\0\0e\0\0\0y\0\0\0")[i*4] : (TCHAR)*pwd ; Btw. they don'...

Re: How to build Autohotkey_H source code? Topic is solved

1. Yes. 2. Yes it matters. 3. It means when a source code is published, it is not that difficult to 'hack' it. To have a proper protection you have to come up with a different way than default password to protect your code. The best method is to use a separate function and no fix password here: http...

Re: How to build Autohotkey_H source code? Topic is solved

Try following steps to compile AutoHotkey_H: 1. Open the project 2. Upgrade SDK for both projects 3. Change AutoHotkey to be the start project 4. Make sure following is set for all for all configurations and platforms (Debug, Release, ReleaseDll...) as well as (Win32, x64) 5. go to project propertie...

You have to build the dll files too and then run CleanUpAndPack.exe.exe located in root: https://github.com/HotKeyIt/ahkdll

Re: When using ThreadObj Intermittent error

Could not reproduce it, also ahk.ExitApp() does not cause any problems.
Are you using the latest version?

Re: Forking a script execution without adding code to each thread separatedly.

Docs are not showing code for thread. My example is for a thread.

Code: Select all

project1:="this is a test"
threadD:= AhkThread("
(
Alias(project1," getvar(project1) ")
MsgBox `% project1
)")
While threadD.ahkReady()
	Sleep 100

Re: Forking a script execution without adding code to each thread separatedly.

a.1 Inside the thread #include will work just fine. B. Without #Persistent script would exit, see help file. If you have #Persistent in your #included code then you won't need it obviously. C. each Thread has a tray icon, you can disable it using #NoTrayIcon D. Correct, as long as thread is running ...

Re: How to correctly launch and terminate script using ahktextdll?

ExitApp is correct.
I just downloaded too and tested your script and all works fine.
1. Can you try to download and extract to separate folder
2. then create AutoHotkey.ahk in the folder Win32w
3. then run AutoHotkey.exe in the same folder.

Re: Forking a script execution without adding code to each thread separatedly.

a) No you don't need them, it makes the code cleaner. b) This is how CreateScript parses it, from label to label, see CreateScript . c) No, they point to the other variable which is the only that points to the memory space, Alias is not multi-thread safe, consider using CriticalObject if you need to...

Re: Forking a script execution without adding code to each thread separatedly.

That is a way to do it, as you described. threads:=[] Loop 4 threads[A_Index]:=AhkThread(" ( #Persistent Alias(mondaytime," getvar(mondaytime) ") Alias(tuesdaytime," getvar(tuesdaytime) ") Alias(thursdaytime," getvar(thursdaytime) ") Alias(worktime," getvar(worktime) ") Alias(sumtime," getvar(sumtim...

I don't think this is AHK_H specific, can you test the script in AHK_L v2.100?
