I don't have any plans to add new features, but feel free to do so if you have the time and inclination.

Re: Run script or selection from Notepad++

Not tested, but try replacing all occurrences of: ahk_exe notepad++.exe
with: ahk_class Notepad++ ahk_exe notepad++.exe

That should have it find the main Notepad++ window instead of the search window because the search window is of a different class.

Re: PingPong game

Very nicely done. Here's a version with some sounds added. At least these exist and sound good on my version of Windows 10. Microsoft seems to change them all the time, so they might not exist or sound different on other systems, but it's easy enough to change the sound files near the top of the scr...

If you want c, v, and 2 to still do their normal function, then just put a ~ in front of them.

Re: Pushing lines from Loop, Read into array? Topic is solved

I didn't say that what he did couldn't work. But in my code, I used Click, and that's why I used a pseudo array. His general statement was quite wrong.

Re: Pushing lines from Loop, Read into array? Topic is solved

That is an expression of the Send command. His general statement that you can always force expression mode is not correct when it comes to the Click command.

Wow, you seem pretty sure of yourself, nnnik. Care to amend your statement when it comes to the Click command?

Re: Pushing lines from Loop, Read into array? Topic is solved

You can't use expressions or objects in a Click statement, so you have to use a pseudo-array and use % around the variables. Plus, all that stuff with the physClick, is that just so the virtual click doesn't trigger the LButton hotkey? That's what the $ option on hotkeys is for. I believe your scrip...

Re: Variable not recognized in Excel application

Get rid of the first line. Doesn't make sense to assign a string "F" to the variable. It seems like you think you're linking it to the variable named F from the next line, but it's not doing anything like that.

In the InputBox command, just replace F with FileToName.

Re: Mouse centred when not holding left click and moveable when holding left click down

Thank you so much, it's exactly what I need. However, I can't seem to click or select anything in the browser when using this script, is there any solution to this problem? I don't see how you can expect to select or click on anything if you need to hold the mouse button down just to be able to mov...

Re: Mouse centred when not holding left click and moveable when holding left click down

so 'if *variable* &' means if variable is not false? and the second & is and? Or does variable && mean if variable is not false? if variable evaluates variable itself to see if it's true. A variable value of 0, False, or "" (null string) is false. Anything else is true. I used 1 to represent true, ...

Re: Mouse centred when not holding left click and moveable when holding left click down

It means that it will only do what follows (the MouseMove) if the value of the variable CenterActive is true (or anything that is not false, like 1) and that FireFox is the active window.

Re: GUI - a + button adds another textbox in its place

I assume by text box you mean an edit box. Here's a basic approach to it. Making it scrollable is more advanced. There have been various threads about it on the forum that you should be able to find. EditCount := 1 gosub, BuildGui return GuiClose: ExitApp AddEdit: EditCount++ gosub, BuildGui return ...

Re: Copy one template that auto fills another

Well, if it still has all for elements (you showed just Issues and Resolution, but I'm guessing that's just part of the whole) and you don't mind (in fact want) all the line feeds in there, then you can use this: :*:template:: RegExMatch(Clipboard, "s)Name: (.*)Issues: (.*)Resolution: (.*)Conclusion...

Re: script to open Screen Sketch on Win10

Have it click on the location to select Screen Sketch after the menu pops up. Just change the coordinates in the script below so it clicks on the right place on your monitor.

Code: Select all

CoordMode, Mouse, Screen
Send, #w
Sleep, 500
Click, 2400, 1040

Re: How KeyWait works?

No, it's not strange at all. If you press and release it quickly, you've released it before the first beep is finished, then it's waiting on the key press and release before the second beep. If you hold it down longer, you've held it down longer than the duration of the first beep, so when it gets t...
