Re: FindText - Catch screen image into text and then find it

This is an amazing piece of code. I don't know how it works, but it is very fast and accurate. I would recommend the opening post include this link to ed1chandlers explaination on how to use this code. https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17834&hilit=findtext#p87947 I don't thin...

Select items in Microsoft Edge context menu

Please Note: I need some people to test this on Microsoft Edge. I was only able to test it on 2 computers running windows 10. I will be using this for my SavePictureAs program, and would like it to be as bug free as possible. On most browsers when you right click to open the context menu you are abl...

Re: Microsoft Edge Context Menu (right click)

Have you tried arrow up? For me going that direction is stable. Otherwise going through MSAA or UIA should do it. Takes a lot more code, though... So far arrowing up is the best suggestion, but has 1 drawback noted below. Using shortcut keys as in send v or send s insures that if Save Image As is n...

Re: Show WiFi password

Did not work for me. The errorlevel is returning 1 below FileReadLine, str, %SSID%, 22 ; Read line 22 of the XML file MsgBox % ErrorLevel I found that the file created is SSID=%TEMP%\Wi-Fi-%SSID%.xml But your code is SSID=%TEMP%\WiFi-%SSID%.xml I changed SSID=%TEMP%\WiFi-%SSID%.xml to SSID=%TEMP%\Wi...

Re: SelectFolderEx() - new dialog on Win Vista+

I have replaced all FileSelectFolder with SelectFolderEx in my program SavePictureAs.

Do I have your permission to release SavePictureAs with SelectFolderEx with proper credit given?

I checked OCR and from what I can see it requires a 3rd party app. I need to use AutoHotkey only.

Microsoft Edge Context Menu (right click)

I need to be able to select Save Picture As from the right click context menu in Microsoft Edge. Edge does not have shortcut keys for the right click context menu. I can not arrow to Save Picture As and press enter because Save Picture As is not always on the same line. Sometimes it is on the 1st, 2...

Re: SavePictureAs - (Save Image/Picture)

SavePictureAs works with over 25 browsers and all versions of windows since WinXP, but I have not been able to figure out how to get SavePictureAs to work with Microsoft Edge. Currently, after the user presses their chosen hotkey SavePictureAs uses the right click menu to select Save Picture. This i...

In addition to GuiControlGet retrieving the non Gui Hotkey Control supported hotkey the hotkey works. Run this script. Click "Turn Hotkey On", then Right Click to test the Rbutton hotkey that is not displayed in the Hotkey control. Gui, msctls_hotkey324:Add, Hotkey, +HwndCHID, RButton Gui,...

Re: Get Hotkey Control text using ControlGetText

I noticed something odd... You can load the Gui Control with a non supported Gui Control hotkey and as expected it does not display it, but GuiControlGet will retrieve it. Run this code and immediately press the test button and Mbutton1 will be retrieved as the hotkey even though it is not displayed...

Re: Get Hotkey Control text using ControlGetText

Here is an example using Alguimist's suggestion. Hopefully what ever is in the hotkey control will show up in the edit control when the test button is pressed. It appears that NumpadHome and Num 7 will always show up as Num 7 in the Hotkey Control even though they are 2 seperate hotkeys. And all the...
