Re: QuickStart - A straightforward, customizable launcher

I haven't been using AutoHotkey for long, but this script is already a life saver. However the following shortcut in QuickStartDef.ahk doesn't work for me. { ; AutoHotkey QuickStart.qcount := Func( "QS_Count" ) } I have only a basic understanding of the AHK language, but I can't find the "QS_Count"...

Re: MouseMover: Pixel-Perfect Pointer Precision!

But why did you write these: SoundBeep, 523.251, 100 SoundBeep, 783.991, 100 instead of just these? SoundBeep, 523, 100 SoundBeep, 783, 100 Those particular frequencies are musical notes... C & G... probably copy/pasted somewhere else vs. coded from scratch. Yes, I just copy-pasted the notes from W...

Re: Batch Googler and String Sorter

Just ran this using chrome and fire fox and had no luck. Same results. It opens the proper amount of tabs but it does not run the queries. This is a great idea thanks for the work. I hope others get to enjoy it. I have yet to try it on my home PC. I will test there at some point and provide feedbac...

Re: Batch Googler and String Sorter

Hactar, Thanks for the quick update. I am still experiencing the issue where only the google page shows up with no search results. I am using IE so that may be the issue. I will try using this on Chrome when I get home. It is probably IE; I am using Firefox and the results show up just fine. Well, ...

Re: Batch Googler and String Sorter

When I ran Googler I had to add the button label function for GuiClose. After that I was able to get the GUI to work without error. I then typed in 3 random searches which resulted in 3 new tabs of Google.com with new search results. Has anyone else experienced this? Sorry, that is my error. I copy...

Batch Googler and String Sorter

Have you ever had to Google several things all at once, but didn't want to open a new tab each time? Have you ever wanted to alphabetize or randomize a list without finding a website that can do it for you? Okay, maybe not. Still, these scripts might be handy. Update 8/19/2015 - Fixed Googler's tool...

MouseMover: Pixel-Perfect Pointer Precision!

IMPORTANT: Since Win10, BlockInput MouseMove (which this program requires for it's core feature) no longer works! Hopefully this will be fixed in a soon AHK version, but until then this program doesn't freeze your mouse. :( (It can still move it by one pixel at a time.) Apparently that problem went...

QuickStart - A straightforward, customizable launcher

Note: Windows 10 introduced a new "gaming toolbar," opened with [Win] + [G]. If you want to use [Win] + [G] for your gaming bar, you can remap QuickStart. If you want to use [Win] + [Shift] + [G] for the gaming bar (like me) or some other hotkey... well, #+g::#g doesn't seem to work. Please reply if...

Scripts for FTL: Faster Than Light

Hello everyone! I have made a few scripts which I have found handy while playing FTL. Hopefully they can be of use to others as well! Update 8/19/2015 - Fixed a Tooltip typo in FTLPowerSwitch Most of these scripts are split into two parts. This is so that they can be easily integrated into an existi...

Semi-checked ListView (Or some scrollable list of checkboxes)

Hello again! I am trying to write a program in which I need a GUI supporting a variable amount of checkboxes (basically). At first, I was thinking of using a ListView, but this loses the functionality of "GrayChecked," which is necessary for what I am doing. So I need one of two things: 1. The GrayC...

[Resolved] How to detect/prevent StatusBar text clipping?

Hello everyone! I am currently working on a program that will manage several of the more tedious tasks involved with translating Latin, first starting with management of vocabulary. (Because paper dictionaries are so 20th century! ) So to make a long story short, I've got a ListView control w...
