Re: Print(), PrintDebug(), Stdout() & Stdin()

Very interesting! I've subscribed to this topic. I will probably test this in the future and use it for a linter that I have written for Autohotkey.

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

What's the purpose of getting autohotkey.net domain back, only for script storage? If yes, then just use git hosting services, they usually give 'more than enough' storage for casual users. Note: I'm not endorsing any hosting services in this list . So my point is, there's no benefit of paying $3k ...

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

We don't have a lawyer... Do you know any that could help us with this pro-Bono? I will read into this later tonight. I don't know any lawyers that would know anything about American law (which I think the domain organisation is based on, they using the term "common law"), nor about Internet-relate...

Re: autohotkey.net up for grabs

I believe one can own a common-law trademark without ever having registered anything. Read the quotation by the arbitration people in Jfergie's post above. Merely by using the name in "trade" do you have a common-law trademark, if I understand correctly. I think we might stand a good chance with the...

Re: list of AutoHotkey WM_COMMAND IDs (e.g. Reload/Edit/Suspend/ListVars on another script)

Very interesting! So I wonder, is it possible this way to get a list of all variables and objects that are in use by another script? If you do the ID_VIEW_VARIABLES command, is it possible to get a list and do something with it in the executing script (so no the script whose variables we want to vie...

Are you updating the script to support OCR?
I'm not sure whether I have the ability to do so. It's a big script and it's not mine. And OCR didn't work on my computer. Maybe I'll try at some point in the future.

Re: Screen clipping

Thank You Cerberus :) You use the same hotkeys I use. this is the best way to use it and I also don't use email either so it's at 0 imgur works :D btw I will stop using ShareX because it keeps activating after clip :=1 is set on any hotkey. It also seems to stop OCR from working. having imgur on th...

Re: Screen clipping

How do u upload to imgur without an imgur account? I don't know how to search for imgur since imgur is everywhere. I don't believe you can without an account. But it's easy to create an account. I'll post my version of the script below, which doesn't have OCR yet, but it does have auto-upload to Im...

Re: Screen clipping

@Cerberus - Just an FYI- I removed the IMUGR upload from this version as I virtually never used that functionality anymore. :( Bummer about it not working on 32 bit version. There is probably a 32 bit version of Tesseract but I don't have the time to investigate. Regards, Joe Oh, I see, that's too ...

Re: ExplorerTool – small enhancements of default shell

This works on Win Vista, Win 8. I didn't check it on Win 10, because I avoid using it (it messes up my multi-boot sequence). I agree to avoid win10 but for other (privacy) reasons. you could easily setup multiboot by using vhd (no need to partition the hard drive). search the internet if you want t...

Re: Script help needed. Read data from clipboard and insert into this script.

You can use the clipboard (or any other variable) by enclosing it in percentage signs, like so: %Clipboard% By the way, are you aware that #b acts like pressing b while holding down the Windows key? If you want to send the actual hash symbol, do {#} instead of #. If there is a chance that the clipbo...

Re: Sublime Text Resources - [plugins, lang files, etc.]

You can't fix this. Not whilst using .tmLang files for doing the syntax highlighting, as they can only ever parse a single line at a time. There is virtually no way for the lexer to know an opening brace is coming up on the line below belonging to a function declaration. This is sad. I'm really add...

Re: help with key combination condition

The problem is that the second parameter after the Input command, the output variable (the parameter command , in your script), only outputs characters, not hotkeys that don't produce a (visible?) character. And ^j does not produce a character, it's just a hotkey. From the documentation : OutputVar ...

Re: Syntax and naming conventions?

Pretty much as described already for variable/function/method names. I'm not a big fan of CamelCase generally, but it seems to be the de-facto standard for AHK. I drop my leading braces down a line - I blame a workplace style guide from years ago where OTB was frowned upon for some reason. Argument...
