Re: Select all but "silently"

If you want to select some string in order to copy it to some variable you can make it using direct memory read, which might work in some cases. First you need to get address in which desired string is stored (using cheatengine), then use some memory library, like this one - https://github.com/kevrg...

Re: A_IPAddress Performance

This is interesting, thanks for sharing. I'll do some benchmark tests on all of the 'A_' variables. And afterwards I'll mention any slow variables here: jeeswg's documentation extension tutorial - AutoHotkey Community https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=33596 I wonder if have you done...

Result of 0^0

Not sure if its intentional, bug or whether is it important or not, but:

Code: Select all

msgbox % 0**0
Returns 0.

It's mathematically ambiguous but almost all of the programming languages or math engines treat it as 1.

This is how it looks like:

If there was any infinite loop wouldn't I see it in 'lines most recently executed'? Even if we assume so then how this loop could be activated if I didn't use this specific excel file name in any line?

Re: Open big excel = crash ahk apk. Why? Strange Topic is solved

Application crashes... yes. But actual Windows crashes are rare. I assume that is what "everything crashes" means. Sorry for not being precise. By "everything crashes" I meant that application crashes and typical window appears "Autohotkey 32 has stopped working" and all hidden guis of this app are...

Re: Open big excel = crash ahk apk. Why? Strange Topic is solved

I told you that the script is more than 10k lines, it doesnt use this specific excel in any way. They are not related except for that both of them are opened in the same time in the same pc. How can I know which part of script is responsible for that, if I knew I wouldnt ask in the first place. I'm ...

Open big excel = crash ahk apk. Why? Strange Topic is solved

Can anyone tell me what might be the reason for such strange behaviour? Got an app that has got like 10k lines. It uses a lot of imagesearch, gdip, some data in arrays, semi-complicated gui with tabs, classics. While it is in standby it does literally nothing. When I open the script in tray and see ...

Re: Anyone got any experiences in posting mouse events in Qt5 apps?

Regular mouse clicks to active window works fine. Problems appear when it comes to the inactive one. For example, this script: F1:: mousegetpos, posx0, posy0 winget,ID,hClient,A return F3:: CoordMode, mouse, screen BlockInput, mousemove posx1 := posx0 + 8 posy1 := posy0 + 8 mousegetpos, posx2, posy2...

Anyone got any experiences in posting mouse events in Qt5 apps?

I'm asking because all mouseclick methods i've used failed less or more miserably. I'm talking about trying to send mouse event lbutton or rbutton to inactive but not minimized window. Using ext. dll caused click on different menus inside app with different position offsets (whats is kinda strange, ...

Re: [Help] ControlClick Not Working, but ControlSend is Topic is solved

Try first one key down, sleep 50ms, then key up. Also specify in controlclick options parameter NA, might help you. If it wont help place mousemove to click point just before controlclick. You can also check postmessage leftclick to hwnd, also set cursor position before click might be necessary, it ...

Re: ImageSearch, 120+images, too slow

1) Place at begining of script, it reduced imagesearch speed from 60ms to 0-1ms (literally zero to one miliseconds, in my case) SetBatchLines, -1 DllCall("dwmapi\DwmEnableComposition", "uint", 0) 2) Try compile both x32 and x64 and check whats faster (in my case x32 is two times faster than x64) (wa...

Can any of these 5 functions cause "Out of memory" error?

I got main scritp that uses these functions from time to time. Files that are being read are monsters.xml and items.xml, which I will upload as attachments (items is quite long, 1,5MB whereas monsters is just list of few hundreds names and small xml file location path of each name).
