Re: MIDI

@genmce: It's actually quite a major undertaking. Was considering participating, but TBQH there's enough programs out there that do the job well enough. I am a Reaper subscriber, actually. However there's very good resource out there, e.g . the fourthwoods tutorial and all you want to know on the mi...

Oh go on laugh or don't! Please be nice, as this has been bending the old brain-cells backwards considerably.
The time frame seems about right, and the ID certainly seems to fit the bill- but does anyone know if Laszlo @ Machine Bit Wizardry is actually the Bitcoin Laszlo -or related?

Here's an update of MidiOutsList in Zelio's posted code to account for Unicode: MidiOutsList(ByRef NumPorts) { ; Returns a "|"-separated list of midi output devices local List, MidiOutCaps, PortName, result, midisize (A_IsUnicode)? offsetWordStr := 64: offsetWordStr := 32 midisize := offse...

Hi there! This old thread has some helpful pointers.
The script is running too quickly. Use Sleep, or timers to give Chrome time to initialise and/or respond.

Get String From Offset Topic is solved

Hi there, Suppose we setup a structure for a physical monitor thus with the well known : OffsetDWORD := 4 byteSize := A_IsUnicode ? 2 : 1 Physical_Monitor_size_single:= OffsetDWORD + byteSize * 128 VarSetCapacity(Physical_Monitor, Physical_Monitor_size_single, 0) GetPhysicalMonitorsFromHMONITOR retu...

Re: [LIB] MDMF - Multiple Display Monitor Functions

Wondering if MDMF can also be used just to obtain a monitor handle : Something like: MDMF_GetMonHandle(targMonitorNum) ; targMonitorNum obtained from Sysget { Static Monitors := {Count: 0, targetMonitorNum: targMonitorNum, targhandle : 0} If (Monitors.MaxIndex() = "") ; enumerate Static En...

Re: [CMD] chmls - a CHM utility (list / extract ...)

The unblockchm looks interesting. Probably similar to something posted at this thread : String ZIStream(HelpFileName + ":Zone.Identifier") ; if (FileExists(ZIStream)) { DeleteFile(ZIStream) ; } The beauty of chm files inside compiled AHK executables precludes the necessity of it at present...

Like to know a little more about AHK threads and their priority attributes. SetThreadPriority("Low") SetThreadPriority(p){ ; L (or Low), B (or BelowNormal), N (or Normal), A (or AboveNormal), H (or High), R (or Realtime). ;Gets out calculator to derive mean values: static priority:={L:-1,6...

Re: Thread Priority Values

Ah, okay thanks. SetThreadPriority deals with small discrete values where:
A thread with a base priority level above 11 interferes with the normal operation of the operating system

Wonder where they got -2147483648 to 2147483647 from then?

Thread Priority Values

Rather than one navigating through -2147483648 to 2147483647 for thread priority values, perhaps it would have been be more consistent to offer (quoted from Process ): L (or Low), B (or BelowNormal), N (or Normal), A (or AboveNormal), H (or High), R (or Realtime).
