Re: Retrieving a reference to a String with a Base Object using Object()/ObjGetBase()

When a non-object value is used with object syntax, the default base object is invoked. This can be used for debugging or to globally define object-like behaviour for strings, numbers and/or variables. The default base may be accessed by using .base with any non-object value; for instance, "&q...

Du darfst keine Leerzeichen zwischen dem Funktionsnamen und dem Parametern haben.
Für deinen Loop würde ich dir zudem Loop... Until empfehlen.

Re: Retrieving a reference to a String with a Base Object using Object()/ObjGetBase()

Object functions only work on objects directly - I don't know why you would assume they work on strings.
Also you go the address of the string buffer just fine - what more do you want?

Re: FastMatrix

Once again I have worked on the class. The wiki is what i focused the most on this time around - sadly it doesn't seem like a lot has changed from a glance but the wiki is almost complete now. I hope you give it a read and point out my mistakes. ⋅ Added 2 new methods: getSize and getVersio...

Re: Question about searching images using Gdip_ImageSearch

IN AHK there are 2 seperate syntaxes that both exist. One is the command syntax the other is the expression syntax. Command syntax is everything that starts with a command name at the start of the line and then has its parameters seperated by a , e.g. : ImageSearch, x, y, %pos_x%, %pos_y%, %x_right%...

Re: Percentages for coords

GUIs ae mostly written by CSS nowadays.
CSS uses percentages more than it uses fixed pixels.

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

I think I will lock this topic.
It has greatly deviated from anything that should be discussed in this forums.
I also think that this is a nice point to make people calm down.
So this topic is now locked.

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

I would like to remember all members of this discussion of the ignore feature of this forums.
If you add someone as a foe you will not be able to see their posts.
You can add foes under User Control Panel -> Friends & Foes -> Manage Foes.

I hope you have a nice day :)

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

I think that guests link summed up nicely how quite a few of us actually feel about you. At least I feel that way. Most of our discussion about many suggestions end up with us trying to convince you that it isn't needed or doesn't make sense. So much actually that I immediately fall into this routin...

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

You suggest a single thing in any forum. You discuss this single thing. Regardless of discussing the single thing you will do the following: Make a PR for a single request and discuss it. Finally the PR might get accepted aftera little bit of back and forth. I don't understand where the lists ever c...

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

Also you dont make lists - you make singular requests.
That modularity allows everyone to work together.

Your posting style is hard to deal with so I object.
I doubt our wish lists ever align in the next few years.

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

It doesn't matter what you think or are against. Thats how it works. You can disucc all you want if you do not put it into source yourself someone else has to. I will only put my own suggestions into source and suggestions that I need. (And things that I like). I think long discussions waste more ti...

Re: StrReplace() should have option to replace from rear of string

I think 4 parameters is already too much for me. It just doesn't look readeable anymore after that. Space seperated options have the same problem as objects as in they have a performance issue. (although its much lower) I also feel that just replacing a , with a space doesn't increase readability. T...

Re: NumOp/StrOp (with respect to !=/!==)

I wouldn't do it as a GitHub PR, because it wouldn't be my immediate intention to try and get it into AutoHotkey. If you want something inside Autohotkey you suggest it. If you dont want it you don't suggest it. I think your approach of actively 'trying to make AutoHotkey better' might be getting i...
