Re: AHK v2: converting/optimizing scripts Topic is solved

3 there is a lot of logic regarding relocations inside my framework. If we connect both things they can work together.

Re: GDI+ standard library 1.45 by tic

I would not reccomend going with the structure you suggested but rather provide each class a pGraphics that is correctly transformed when this element has to redraw itself. Drawing bitmaps onto each other is an expensive operation - you do not gain any performance by buffering each class. The functi...

Re: AHK v2: converting/optimizing scripts Topic is solved

Yeah well the VCC compiling I use is a mess and I had many issues with it - but it eventually worked out for most compiles. One didnt want to no matter what I did - though I made sure that the resulting MCode is read correctly and my CPU can handle all the instructions and that all the pointers are ...

Re: [AHK v2 64-bit] Compile C to memory using TCC

As far as I can tell the compilation time is irrelevant when compared to gcc and VS.
gcc and VS are roughly similar with gcc being slightly ahead in most cases.

No optimization is kind of bad - so I guess MCode still has its uses.

If you could combine this with the existing framework of:
https://github.com/nnnik/MCode-Ex That would be of great benefit to me :)

How does TCC compare to compiled code by VSC++ or gcc performance wise?

Nice - I can already see this replacing MCode.

Re: Calling Excel with COM objects. "0x800401F3 - Invalid class string" ERROR

COM commands open Excel in the background and let it work on your file.
You cannot work on a file in Excel without opening it.

FileAppend simply adds text at the end of your data inside the file.
This does not respect any format said file may have and that it works out is just pure coincidence.

Re: AHK v2: converting/optimizing scripts Topic is solved

When you need performance the first step is to avoid AHK as much as possible. Therefore calling external functions using MCode is a valid strategy and there is no reason not to. I beg to differ. We don't optimize performance-wise the whole program structure. We pinpoint time-critical cycles in it w...

The activation function differs greatly depending on the task. You also don't need t to use the same activation function on every layer.

Then how about adding hidden buttons or links that trigger js code?
You can then click them using the DOM.

Re: AHK v2: converting/optimizing scripts Topic is solved

Well Im trying to work around the global/static restriction with my new compiler.
But I have run into a few issues there and havent continued ever since.

You can call external dlls if you need to by passing them as a parameter (as shown in my tutorial I think).

Re: AHK v2: converting/optimizing scripts Topic is solved

I never said anything about the callee. I said something about how C features like:
(Forgive me if the code might be invalid its been ages since I've last written C)

Code: Select all

global int f = 0;
int function(int u) {
	static int i = 0;
	i += f;
	f = u * f + u + f;
	return i;
}
Simply does not work
