There is no parent.
The variables store references.
Therefore there is no way to get parents.
You might think that it is just another name for parents but it is conceptually something entirely different.
When you need to find a values parent you are doing something wrong.

I'm not sure if AHK can detect the first case ( I would just disable it and use AHK to do that ) but I am pretty sure that there are some flags for Hotstrings that can help you.

That's a good solution. It's equal to modifying the object directly and avoids the long if else if lines that I did not like in v1. I'm not sure what to name it, since "event sink" is probably unfamiliar to most users. I think that more users are familiar with "event handler" tho...

You did not get my post. What I said is that cheat detection scripts trigger on the slightest hint that something may be off.
Running AutoHotkey is a major sign that something is off.
