Re: Pushing lines from Loop, Read into array?

You can't use expressions or objects in a Click statement, so you have to use a pseudo-array and use % around the variables. Plus, all that stuff with the physClick, is that just so the virtual click doesn't trigger the LButton hotkey? That's what the $ option on hotkeys is for. I believe your scri...

Re: Pushing lines from Loop, Read into array?

You need brackets {} around pieces of code that you want to stick together: CoordMode, Mouse physClick = False LButton:: GetKeyState, State, LButton, P If State = D physClick = True return LButton Up:: If physClick = True { mouseCoords := [] Loop, Read, mousepos.txt { mouseCoords.Push(A_LoopReadLine...

Re: jeeswg's benchmark tests

- Also, doing a benchmark test, with the exact same code being tested twice in a row, with one being faster than the other, is concerning. Thats due to the way modern CPUs work - the thing you are looking for is called Branch Prediction. Also after testing it myself it seems that using a pointer is...

Re: if var in/contains comma-separated list/array

- Regarding: v2-thoughts https://autohotkey.com/v2/v2-thoughts.htm >>> Re. an array on the left-hand side. Perhaps this, the following two lines would be equivalent: vCount := ([a,b] contains [c,d]) vCount := (a contains [c,d]) + (b contains [c,d]) - So if oArrayA contains oArrayB would be equivale...

Re: Stringleft, stringright and substr: ALLOW PAD string

Well as far as I understood, the job of StrRight/Left or SubStr is to cut out a part of a string.
How exactly does padding the string with something play a role in that task?

Re: Open and save text file in proper encoding

If you do not know the original encoding of the file then noone does - it's not stored anywhere.
You could check for the UTF-8 BOM and check if there are any characters that break the UTF-8 rule though.
You could also write an analasys that analyses the raw data and decides on a specific encoding.

I think this might be pointless after all if you look into graphs there structure is more important
Also you don't check for circular references.

Re: AHK Benutzerobjekte und Klassen - Grundbegriffe

Ja sollte man meinen.

Re: DllCall 32vs64 bit Topic is solved

Nah the return type is an integer. But this is using the CDECL calling convention: Though as you mentioned it's only going to cause issues for the 32 bit version. DllCall("xd2txlib\ExtractText", "WStr", Search, "Int", False, "Ptr*", fileText, "Cdecl int&q...
