Re: CSV delimited database help

@Mike199028, I use this character quite a bit: ʬ (decimal 684, hex 0x02AC), primarily because I've NEVER seen it ANYWHERE ELSE that I can recall. ;:*:wwww::ʬ Also, if you can download the Symbola font , you can use this code below to pick a character you like as a quick-and-dirty tool: Gui, -DpiScal...

Re: ToolTipFont / ToolTipColor - options for the ToolTip command

@flipeador, thanks for that class! Here's a first shot at a translation into English. If you get a chance to make sure it's at least close to correct, I'd really appreciate it. /* Creates personalized tooltips. Allows modification of text, title, icon and font. Remarks: This class only works for Win...

Re: foot, inches calculator

@204squares, I don't think you accounted for the fact that you have to square the inches also, and I don't think it's very common to see "12 sq.ft. 108 sq.in.", so I haven't done that. You might look at this code to see if it will help. Edit: Removed * 2 from answer := 1total * 2total so c...

Re: AniGIF - Create gif control using AniGIF.dll

@Tradesxi, it appears from the CodeProject URL for AniGIF that the author re-released the source (despite what it still says in the downloaded source files) under the CPOL license provisions, which do allow commercial use.

Re: Keyboard detection - twice Raw output problem

Hi, I'm shooting in the dark here - Since it's limited to those sections, have you tried something like Else if vk =235 ; Keyboard NumLock sc045 (remapped to NoConvert vkEBsc07B) { Send, {Blind}{Raw}¢ return } or any of the other 'Send' modes ({Text}, etc.) for this limited section of code? Sorry if...

Re: MinHook - API Hooking Library

Hi, tmplinshi, how do I handle #Include <MinHook> ? I can see that AutoHotkey_H lists its license on the github page, and found a program or two that use the DLL, but I don't find a library MinHook.ahk anywhere. Edit:  Wow. I don't know how much more obvious it could have been. ...

@DataLife, glad you had good luck with OneDrive. I had really not even considered it, and have no good reason for not doing so, since it's free.

Re: Direct links file storage

@DataLife, I've been pretty happy with SugarSync for some time. They give a 30 day free trial, so maybe it would be worth a try. I'm only paying $60 a year now, but I think I'm grandfathered in. It might be more now, I haven't checked.

Re: Old scripts: Alarm Timer. Stopper. Quick Notes. Snipping Tool.

@drozdman,
What I meant was no notes were being saved when created right in Quick Notes. Just checked again, still the case. The prior version does save the notes.
I'm sure you're right about the hotkey. It is definitely the system error sound.

Re: Old scripts: Alarm Timer. Stopper. Quick Notes. Snipping Tool.

@drozdman, thanks again, images are working. There is a bell on prog startup, don't know if that's intentional or not. For some reason loading a file takes two tries, but always loads into a note on the second try. Notes are apparently not saved at the moment. (Win7-64, AHK_L 1.1.29.01) EDIT: Draggi...

@SAbboushi, when I run this code SendObject := { x: 2 } size := objdump(sendObject, variable) msgbox("The variable is " . variable) ExitApp I get the value of the variable as a Unicode character the forum isn't printing. Are those your results too? Capture.PNG Regards, burque505

Re: Old scripts: Alarm Timer. Stopper. Quick Notes. Snipping Tool.

Hi drozdman, I'm still working with Win7. Here's a version of what you just posted that will show images in Win7. All I did was add "#Include RichEdit OleCallback.ahk" at the top and " RE_SetOleCallback(RE[A_Index].HWND)" after the creation of the first RE. I think maybe this isn...

I agree with you about the context menu. Take a look at this, maybe it could be useful. #NoEnv #Warn SendMode Input #SingleInstance force #Include RichEdit OleCallback.ahk RE_Dll := DllCall("LoadLibrary", "Str", "Msftedit.dll", "Ptr") Gui, +hwndhGui Gu...

Re: Old scripts: Alarm Timer. Stopper. Quick Notes. Snipping Tool.

I have a debug version of RichEdit Quick Notes (zip attached). I will post an animated GIF in a few minutes. I still need to add RTF copy-and-paste capability (for now I'm using my CB_RTF2Clip.ahk to get images onto the clipboard and into Quick Notes). Quick_Notes_3.zip Regards, burque505 EDIT: Here...
